Leading mouthpieces for the radical left and radical right, along with hostage negotiators from the news media, have struck a tentative but comprehensive deal to tame the shrews and calm the blowhards in order to free the citizens of America being held hostage by the attitude of disdain and polarization that has descended upon the country.

Leaks from insiders involved in the terse and tense negotiations indicate a general consensus has been achieved that will enable law abiding Americans to continue life without provocation and will enable the news media to return to covering meaningful news rather than staged events and choreographed demonstrations.

The centerpiece of the massive deal, named the Save America First Treaty, is declaring California a sovereign nation, the designation of California as the first sanctuary nation in the world, and designating California as the first refugee safe zone in the world.

In one swift move, the delegates to the negotiations have achieved a single entity willing and able to provide a safe haven for illegal's and refugees, while assuring autonomy from USA laws, rules, and regulations, which could lead to a frightening "normal" state of mind.

This new sovereign nation, called the Nation of Cornucopia, will bring new promise to the downtrodden and disparaged and will feature open borders to the west welcoming all people of the world without a home.

Everyone knows that even though there are 38 million residents in California, the millions of new immigrants, illegal immigrants, and Syrian refugees can easily be absorbed and the massive availability of desert environment will make many new residents feel right at home.

San Francisco will be the new capitol of Cornucopia and Los Angeles will be the urban jungle as all people of the world will be assimilated into the Cornucopia culture while preserving all aspects of their current culture with a few exceptions.

Those residing in Cornucopia must disavow religious, political, dietary, environmental, sexual, racial, and other codes of conduct violating the principle of a free and open society where everything that is yours is mine and everything that is mine I keep.

Compensation to the remaining United States for the loss of the territory of Cornucopia will consist of the building of a wall around the new nation to protect the openness.

All leftist radicals and elitists in the remaining 49 states will receive a temporary visa in order to arrange to move to the new Shangri-La while right-leaning radicals currently in California will also receive a temporary visa to flee east.

In addition to California, the states of Oregon and Washington will hold a referendum to vote on joining the nation of Cornucopia.  Essential to the success of the new nation is completion of a bi-lateral treaty with Canada, a nation of massive geographic territory yet less population than the current state of California, to absorb any overflow of the illegals, and refugees.

The flag of the new nation of Cornucopia will consist of kisses, lips, rainbows, and moon shots featuring the diversity of the people and the love of radicalism.

Any language is acceptable if spoken by the residents.  There can be no police brutality if there are no police, no senseless killings by guns if there are no guns, no gender bias in bathrooms if uni-water closets are required, and no discrimination against races with the banning of all 5K, 10K, and marathons.

The recognized Founding Father of Cornucopia is George Soros whose investment in the liberal left is legendary.  His generous offer of paying for earthquake protection for the entire nation is just another example of his commitment to Oneness and hedging his bets.

Enough whining - the People Spoke - Donald Trump is our President

With almost all votes finally counted for president, the results demonstrate the widespread route by Donald Trump among the 50 states, which will make him our 45th President.

Trump wins Electoral vote by 306-232

Clinton wins popular vote by 2,357,260

Clinton wins California by 4,187,903

Trump wins remaining 49 states by 1,830,643

Clinton wins California and New York by 5,697,409

Trump wins remaining 48 states by 3,340,149

So far, the Trump victory has defied the media projections,

defied the polls,

defied the political pundits,

and left a lot of Hillary supporters in shell shock.

America has not broken out in civil war.

Our economy has not collapsed as the financial experts warned.

In fact, our financial markets have shattered all time records.

Nations around the world have not panicked or been traumatized.

It is about time for a deep breath in our Republic, and let Donald Trump demonstrate what kind of President he intends to be.

For all those who think someone should be president if they win one or two states by a landslide and ignore the rest of the states, you need a crash course on America, our Constitution, and the history you obviously missed.

California's chances of having a magnitude-7 or greater earthquake in the next couple days just skyrocketed

A cluster of more than 200 small earthquakes beneath the Salton Sea in Southern California earlier this week has scientists waiting to see if the slumbering San Andreas fault nearby could be the next to move. The U.S. Geological Survey estimates that following the quake swarm at the Salton Sea on Monday and Tuesday, the likelihood of a magnitude-7 or greater earthquake being triggered is as high as 1 in 100 over the next seven days, though the odds will lower as time goes on.

But for now, local seismologists might feel their hearts racing. "When there's significant seismicity in this area of the fault, we kind of wonder if [the San Andreas] is somehow going to go active," Caltech seismologist Egill Hauksson told the Los Angeles Times. "So maybe one of those small earthquakes that's happening in the neighborhood of the fault is going to trigger it, and set off the big event."

And by big event, they mean big:

A San Andreas earthquake starting at the Salton Sea has long been a major concern for scientists. In 2008, USGS researchers simulated what would happen if a magnitude-7.8 earthquake started at the Salton Sea and then barreled up the San Andreas fault, sending shaking waves out in all directions.

By the time the San Andreas fault becomes unhinged in San Bernardino County's Cajon Pass, Interstate 15 and rail lines could be severed. Historic downtowns in the Inland Empire could be awash in fallen brick, crushing people under the weight of collapsed buildings that had never been retrofitted.

Los Angeles could feel shaking for a minute — a lifetime compared with the seven seconds felt during the 1994 Northridge earthquake. Shaking waves reach as far as Bakersfield, Oxnard, and Santa Barbara. About 1,600 fires spread across Southern California. And powerful aftershocks larger than magnitude-7 pulverize the region, sending shaking into San Diego County and into the San Gabriel Valley. [Los Angeles Times]

Terrorism back in America after 14 year absence - Tragedy in San Bernardino - 14 dead, 21 injured

Not since the World Trade Center disaster September 11, 2001 has the war on terrorism been in evidence here in America.  That all changed in San Bernardino, California this week when fourteen were murdered and twenty-one injured.

Armed to the teeth with assault rifles, hand guns, and pipe bombs, a home grown radicalized Islamic terrorist and his Pakistani wife invaded a Christmas party and left the horrendous carnage of bodies and blood.

Three hours later, when they were most likely returning to their bomb factory for more ammunition, they were spotted and after a short police chase a gun battle ensued and nearly 500 bullet blasts later the two terrorists were dead while just two cops were injured.

The chance encounter at the bomb factory most likely save many, many more lives as a dozen pipe bombs and thousands of more rounds of ammunition remained in the factory.

As of this morning, two days after the slaughter, our president still refuses to call it a terror attack saying it might be a terror attack or it might be a work place dispute.

Of course all evidence points to terrorism since the couple had to spend months preparing the arsenal and making the pipe bombs.  Also, his so called dispute at the Christmas party which is yet to be confirmed took place a couple of hours after he and his wife dropped off their six year old daughter with her grandmother.

In addition, she was from Pakistan, they met in Saudi Arabia, he traveled to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, she was on a green card, and they met through the Internet.

Need I remind the readers all the major participants in the World Trade Center disaster were from Saudi Arabia.

At first Obama, Hillary Clinton and the liberal media ignored the terrorist angle and called for more gun control and restrictions to prevent such disasters.  California has the toughest gun control laws in America and has banned assault rifles but the guns used in the attack were still legal.

After day one Hillary started moving apart from Obama by saying it might be terrorist related.  No one in the media is mentioning the fact the terrorism is directly related to the failed policy of the Obama/Clinton foreign policy.

As usual, the many law enforcement agencies and personnel performed heroically risking their lives to help the victims and end the attack.

If only the politicians (Obama, Clinton and fellow Democrats and liberals) could do the same and declare war on Apocalyptic Islamic terrorists maybe we could begin to rid the Earth of this evil threat.

NBA Finals - Battle for Supremacy - Records shattered in Greatest of all Championships

LeBron James and Stephen Curry have now met three times in the playoff and records are falling to the wayside.

After three games and 583 points scored, the combined scoring difference between the two teams is just ONE POINT, Golden State has 292 and Cleveland 291, though Cleveland holds a 2-1 lead in games.

The first two games ended in overtime, a new NBA record, and LeBron James scored 123 points in the first three games, another new NBA record.

As the referees allow an amazing amount of physical contact, the floor of the game is often covered with bodies in hot pursuit of the ball.  Such enthusiasm was almost lost in the deluge of cash pumped into professional basketball and it is great to see it resurface.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, in existence since 1970, have never won an NBA Championship during the forty-five year history, although LeBron James won two while with the Miami Heat.  Unlike his stint at Miami, James is no longer surrounded by a supporting cast of superstars.

Out west the Golden State Warriors, who were founded in Philadelphia in 1946 and moved to the west coast in 1962, have won three NBA championships but it has been forty years, 1975, since they last won.

In terms of television interest, and noting that TV viewership nationally continues to fall, the first two games drew the largest audiences since ABC took over the broadcast in 2003.  Game 1 drew about 17.8 million viewers and game two 18.8 million viewers, new ABC records and up 26% from last year.

Highlights include a maturing of LeBron James into one of the greatest team leaders, most inspirational motivators, and relentless physical stalwarts to ever play the game.

His success in leading the Cavaliers is in spite of the loss of two stars at the beginning of the finals, and being the decided underdog against the Warriors.

As for the favored Golden State, Curry knows he must be far more aggressive from the start of the game, take more shots rather than pass off so often, and turn up the emotion in order to lead his team back into the lead.

America is being served a dose of basketball the way it used to be before money dominated the game. This series is all about passion, grit, and guts and the battle between the opposing superstars.  It should be a great finish.
