Ted Cruz melts down during Indiana presidential primary

.

For weeks presidential candidate Ted Cruz has been demanding everyone else get out of his way so he could go face-to-face against Donald Trump, the presumptive favorite in the Republican presidential primary.

Last week he got his way when he and John Kasich, the other nearly invisible GOP candidate for president made a secret agreement to campaign in different states to stop Donald from getting the nomination.  Cruz, though over two million votes and five hundred delegates behind Trump, and having no chance to win the election based on the voting of people, created a viable strategy to win in spite of the Trump landslide.

He made a deal with the stalwarts of the Republican establishment, at least the radical right wing elements, and a formal Dump Trump, Stop Trump, Anyone but Trump movement was launched.  During the campaign to date about 55,000 television commercials were broadcast attacking Trump.

Leaders of the radical right who believe the best government is no government including Glenn Beck, Bill Kristol, George Will and others took on the job of doing what they believed the American public was too stupid to do, to defeat Trump.

So while Trump was running up the highest vote totals in Republican party history, while powering his way to the presidential nomination, millions of dollars were being spent to stop him by people from his own political party.  Such is the mess the establishment has made of Washington in this day and age.

Needless to say, they blew it first by picking a more radical right-winger, Ted Cruz, as the people's choice. Then by expecting GOP leaders to support a candidate in Cruz they all could not stand.  In fact former Speaker of the House John Boehner referred to Cruz as Lucifer.

The past few days have been a comedy of errors for the Cruz machine and it came to a head just before noon on election day, today, when Cruz held an unexpected press conference and literally melted down while unloading a vicious, rambling, preacheresque diatribe against the guy who will be the nominee for president.

Instead of the White House Cruz may well be headed for the straight jacket.  Just watch the news to learn more of the latest freakish turn in the reality show, the 2016 Presidential Campaign.  Real television has no chance of matching the drama of the campaign.

Liberal One Nation Rally Trashes Nation's Capitol - News The Media Didn't Report

.

More than 400 liberal unions, civil rights, environmental, gay rights, and other progressive groups gathered in DC October 2 to prove 400 liberal organizations could outdraw one conservative, Glenn Beck, but all they really proved is how much they are really dedicated to the nation and environment. The mountain of trash left behind on our nation's most sacred monuments was astounding considering the causes in attendance and of course the media forgot to point out a single negative sign when the mall had many negative and socialist signs.

Capehart on Right

While the unions again spent a small fortune in union dues busing in protesters and the speakers wailed against the Constitution and those who might disagree with their far left agendas at least the left wing media like Jonathan Capehart from the Washington Post, a favorite of MSNBC, could report on events with the typical blinders of a special interest.
Glenn Beck Rally

Liberal Rally

As for the comparison with Beck, you judge from the actual photos. We now know it takes 400 liberal organizations and free busing from the SEIU to equal 1/2 the crowd drawn by Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin and that liberals who champion the environment re the biggest polluters of all.

NAACP's Ben Jealous Continues Liberal Lies and Distortion

What is wrong with the leaders of the civil rights groups in America who claim to want to work with the Tea party to bring America together then spout blatant lies about the Tea party as if hiding behind Martin Luther King, Jr.'s legacy can shield them from the truth.

Hey Ben, a lie is a lie! Claiming to extend an olive branch to the Tea party won't work when the olive branch is laced with cyanide. It is also really silly to claim you formally invited the Tea party to the socialist rally and then refuse to identify what Tea Party official you invited to the media. Since you then proceeded to trash the Tea Party while purporting to extend the olive branch you win hypocrite of the day honors.

Here are some of the other images the national media doesn't want you to see from the liberal bash.

Obamaville - September 29 - Latest Poll Results

  .

Thank goodness the politicians in Washington, DC have set a fine example and we are no longer required to tell the truth about anything because otherwise the latest polls would make little sense. However, the die is cast and the truth is lost and we only have about 5 more weeks of nonsense before the elections so here are the latest poll results as I see them.

Obama has slipped so low in the polls 2/3 of all Americans now want him to be Prime Minister of England or Australia.

The leftist liberals are held in such low regard by most Americans that the only TV ratings now recorded for MSNBC and CNN, America's answers to socialist Europe, are the staff of the two networks watching each other.

Of course liberals aren't the only ones having problems as the same poll shows all Republicans and Democrats over 65 and Newt Gingrich no matter what his age need to be sent out to pasture.

At the same time the people also believe the voting age must be raised to 28 years of age since the dumb kids got us into this mess electing Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid to lead us out of the darkness and into the night.

Speaking of Nancy Pelosi, 80% of all people refuse to believe she is the leader of the majority party as even Democrats can't be that stupid.

Voting for the person the public most wants to see on Dancing with the Stars next season was tied with over 90% wanting Barack Obama and Sarah Palin for the next two seasons, 2011 and 2012, so both will be too busy to run for president.

In terms of education issues, over 70% of the public says the Obama's could not have attended the exclusive Ivy League schools of Columbia and Harvard for Barack, and Princeton and Harvard for Michelle, and still claim to be plain old American middle class folks.

An astounding 100% of the people want to see only one debate in this fall's election, and a team debate at that. They want the team of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck for the right wing against Arianna Huffington and former VP Al Gore for the socialists with the winners decided by whichever team can figure out what the hell the other team is saying first.

The Supreme Court decision to not allow election ballots to offer the choice, "none of the above", which was rejected by the Supreme Court on grounds the public has no right to so directly influence an election, was opposed by 83% of the public.

67% of the public say VP Joe Biden was inconsistent when he admonished fellow Democrats to stop whining the same day Barack Obama was again whining about the endless curses George Bush left him over the past eight years even though George Bush left office nearly two years ago.

Oh yes, and 91% of the public believes we are much safer and the economy will recover only if congress and the Obama's stay on vacation all the time.

Rating the News Media - MSNBC Gears Up for Last Hurrah of Progressive Liberals

.

One thing is clear in the latest Nielsen Ratings, the public is not being fooled by the news media and I use that term rather loosely when distinguishing between news and opinion shows since it is hard to tell the difference most days.

As we head into the fall television cycle and the upcoming Midterm elections it is hard to tell if the Democrats, incumbents, or media are suffering the most by misreading the mood of the public. Clearly the polls and primary election results demonstrate the Democrats and incumbents are lost in their ivory towers as they are in serious trouble and have no clue why.

This year will be one of lost opportunities for the Democrats and even more so for the progressive liberals. They have thrown away, wasted or blown one of the greatest majorities for an unknown and untested president and his party ever handed to politicians in our history.

Right now Obama and the Democratic majority are on the verge of showing one of the greatest falls from grace ever witnessed in politics. Look for the president's party to lose control and around 55 seats in the House, and maybe 9-10 seats and possibly control of the Senate, just two years after Obama's triumphant coronation as president.

Yet the impact on the progressive liberal media who helped power Obama into office could be even more devastating. For the media have ignored or failed to read the tea leaves to an even greater degree than the Obama, Pelosi and Reid people.

Just look at some of the numbers. In August only one network news anchor gained audience, Diane Sawyer at ABC according to the Nielsen numbers. Sawyer continued to close the gap against NBC while Katie Couric is buried in last place.

When it comes to cable news and/or opinion the stats are staggering. MSNBC is the clear bastion of progressive liberalism. Throughout the year they have continued to add progressive mouthpieces to their program mix while attempting to bolster the sagging numbers of their progressive philosophy. The result has been suicidal.

HNL's non-political Morning Express hosted by Robin Meade has buried the MSNBC far left leaning Morning Joe Show for 17 consecutive months as Robin has driven her ratings up 25%-28% in key demos and leads the Morning Joe show by a stunning 66% for the year to date.

As Joe Scarborough, the MSNBC token Republican on the Morning Joe Show, has drifted farther and farther from the GOP viewpoint the ratings of MSNBC have dropped. Just today Joe justified his MSNBC credentials by being about the only Republican on earth to say the GOP will not win control of the House in the elections. If he keeps it up he will beat out Howard Dean for the next leader of the Democratic National Committee.

Fox News is clobbering MSNBC in every single time slot, generally pulling three to four times higher ratings than MSNBC in daytime and prime time programming. For example, Glenn Beck beats Chris Matthews with over 2.1 million viewers to 464,000 for Matthews, O'Rielly beats Olbermann 2.5 million to 782,000, and Hannity beats Rachel Maddow 1.95 million to 610,000 in late August numbers. Note that Hannity often has Sarah Palin on his program.

Then there is CNN, who claims to be the last truly fair and balanced network. Yet they have Rick Sanchez and his progressive agenda on the Rick's List program and even added the liberal to their prime timeline up where his new show has lost 40% of the audience over the previous year. This past week his prime time show pulled just 92,000 viewers while a CNBC show (financial network) about McDonald's Big Mac pulled 143,000 viewers compared to a couple of million viewers on Fox.

CNN primetime average viewership hit a ten year low of just 486,000 in August while the Total Day viewership average of 381,000 was the fifth time this year it had one of the ten worst viewership months since August of 2000. Even Larry King lost 50% of his audience in just the last year.

So what is the lesson? If the media owners of MSNBC and CNN continue to push the progressive liberal agenda they will continue to alienate the Main Street viewers and may soon find themselves becoming an endangered species like many of the radical causes they advocate. Perhaps they should consider adding a little news content to their programming.
