Our Boss is Tougher than Your Boss! Barack Obama versus Vladimir Putin - The Presidential Challenge!

.

What greater weapons of mass deception are there in the world than the leaders of the United States of America and Russia, Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin..  Imagine what it would be like if these two controversial and complicated political foes and leaders were to square off in the first ever people's choice contest for the toughest leader in the world.

Looks like Putin may have the best transportation for the Iron Man competition.

No offense Mr. Obama but Putin may take this event as well.

We thought you might agree.

Wow - he can be quite charming to the right crowd.

Maybe Obama is at least the more expressive.

They don't seem to be in to the competition.

Which one is the hyena?

Both are masters of mind control.

Perhaps they should keep their day jobs.

Forget Snowden, listen to this masterpiece.

So much for silly competition.

What else is there to do here in Russia?

Who is that fool across the water staring at me?

Boy I miss the days when George and I got crazy.

Told you the kid never had a chance.

Well what about Crimea?  Obama would never let that fall to the Russians, would he?

Oh no, not that too!
.

Time to hoof it home.

And the winner is...

Any comment for the viewers Mr. Putin?

How about from you President Obama?

How about a show of good sportsmanship.

How nice for world relations.

Obama puts Democrats at risk with another Keystone Pipeline delay

.

Say no to jobs, energy independence, new tax revenues and lower gasoline

Evidence seems to be building that President Obama is drifting farther and farther away from reality with his sometimes bizarre policy actions.  This time more Democrats up for re-election are going to find it tougher thanks to another weird action by the president.

As we should all know by now, Obama has been opposed to the Keystone natural gas pipeline ever since Sarah Palin challenged him to "drill baby drill" in the 2008 campaign.  His campaign did a reasonable job of trashing Palin as he got about 6% more than McKain-Palin.

However, no sooner had he become president than pressure started building for the Keystone pipeline to be built in order to break the oil cartel stranglehold on the American energy market.

In spite of non-stop opposition to the energy independence movement by the Obama administration, Sarah Palin's call to action was heard and the states started authorizing oil production using the fracking technique.  The success was amazing and showed that a concerted energy production policy between the US and Canada could bring millions of more American produced oil to the market from the Canadian shale oil deposits.

To the embarrassment and insult of the Canadians Obama continued to see the world through rose covered glasses, or was it fog covered, by delaying Keystone at every turn.  All the while the rest of America including Obama's own base like unions, Harry Reid, Bill Clinton and even the Oracle of Omaha Warren Buffett, a crucial Obama supporter, supported building the pipeline in the interests of American energy independence.

When a bi-partisan Senate vote supported it in the middle of the bitter partisanship that has paralyzed congress since Obama took office and then his own State Department review found no objections Obama was left standing alone in opposition.  True to his strategic principles Obama again ordered a delay until after the mid-term elections in November.

The Democrats were shocked, the ones running for re-election were sabotaged, the ones financing elections were appalled and the American consumer, and voter, will be outraged as gasoline prices continue to rise because we are not energy independent and because Obama has continued to ignore Sarah Palin and her cry to "drill baby drill".

Since taking office Obama has confirmed early predictions that his lack of experience in public office would haunt him and his refusal to recruit seasoned staff with government experience, opting instead for political cronies, would cripple his effectiveness.  Add to that his superior attitude and cerebral facade and he was destined for trouble.

It became obvious when he could not get a budget passed, did not adopt all the social reforms he promised the first two years when the Democrats controlled the House, the Senate and the presidency, a tragic strategic blunder and did not have a clue on how to communicate with congress.

Such shortcomings have been reinforced with his "line in the sand" empty threats to Iran, Syria and now Russia, Obama foreign policy actions that have baffled our allies around the world and cemented the perception that not only is America weak under Obama, but we don't even have the will to back up his somewhat meager threats to other countries.

The paper tiger, the boy that cried wolf, call it what you like but the one thing Obama has been consistent at is a policy as solid as quicksand with a foundation of genuine made in the USA jello.

The failure of Obama to see the light on the Keystone pipeline is just another notch in the belt solidifying his reputation, merited or not, of embracing inertia to avoid the danger of making a mistake.  In the old west that might be called gutless, today clueless and tomorrow hopeless in terms of the impact on our future.

By the way, have you noticed how the news media has stopped talking about the terrible Republicans, the liberal news media?  Could it be reality is catching up with them?

There's Something About Sarah - Just Ask CNN Who Couldn't Get Enough of Her

.

Sarah Palin gives CNN talking heads something to talk about

It was like a surreal scene from an old Fellini film.  CNN just cut to a voting area in Alaska to cover the state caucus as part of the Super Tuesday coverage of ten states.  Just as the field reporter was starting his report, and you can imagine who would get assigned to Alaska from the CNN team, out of the voting booth behind him comes none other than our favorite Thorn in the Side of the Obama gang, Sarah Palin.

The reporter was stunned and not a little awe struck but kept his senses enough to actually question Palin without asking her if she was carrying a gun.  Well you know how timid those liberals from the lower 48 can be.  Still he asked her about her vote, she refused to tell him, and about what she thought of the election.

As Palin started in with a comprehensive analysis of the campaign, the fair and balanced team of 8 Democrats and 2 half Republicans back in CNN election headquarters suddenly realized the impossible had happened, they had Sarah live on national television, a joy only Fox News has enjoyed since the liberals left her under the train for dead.

In seconds the gang in the studio were firing questions at Palin.  It must be a liberals dream to try and catch Sarah off guard and unprepared on camera at a moment like this, sort of the Katie Couric gotcha all over again.

But this was not the Sarah Palin of old who had to fight off friends and foes alike to gain a prominent and all to often hated place in our national debate.  You see, there is just something about Sarah Palin that simply drives President Obama and his liberal legions out of their minds.

They tried their best to catch her with a gotcha question like why can't Romney capture the conservatives to which she replied every one of the Republican candidates is far more conservative than President Obama and would receive widespread support from the conservatives, independents and even disgruntled democrats if Romney were running against Obama.

Next they tried to get her to condemn Republicans for not speaking out enough against the Rush Limbaugh fuss and she pointed out she was the target for the same kind of abuse over and over again during and after the 2008 presidential election.  No liberals came to her defense and demanded the liberal making the statements apologize or asking advertisers to stop supporting the liberal cable shows.

Finally she said Rush apologizing twice seemed more than enough to end the discussion.

Again they tried to bait her into a discussion of contraceptives to which she said the American people are fed up with the media and Democrat efforts to focus the campaign on condoms and contraceptives.  She talked about how the women she knew were worried far more about the economy, unemployment, their kids and their kid's future than some nonsense about contraceptives.

No matter how hard they tried to trap her she just smiled and turned the question to her agenda about the sorry state of the economy, the socialization of Washington, DC and the precarious nature of foreign affairs.

For several minutes she held them at bay and mesmerized them with her knowledge of world affairs, economic issues and current events. Even I must admit Sarah is much improved in handling the press and discussing any issue they may throw at her.

When the interview ended several of the Palin haters on the panel had to comment on how well she handled the interview, how much she has matured on her knowledge of issues, and how strong and confident she sounded speaking as a leader trying to unite the Republican party.

Thanks to Palin taking the time to talk to a network that has consistently trashed her in most of their stories about her, she showed a degree of class the liberal media has never shown her.

The last question they asked was if she was still available if the Republican nomination was undecided heading into the national convention.  She smiled, laughed and the former Republican vice-presidential candidate told the CNN reporter she would “seriously consider whatever I can do to help our country” when asked if she would agree to being put forward if the party faced a brokered convention.

The Tea Party darling also indicated she would consider running in the 2016 presidential race, if asked.

"Anything in this life, in this world is possible. Anything is possible for an American. I don't discount any idea or plan that, at this point, isn't in my control. Anything's possible,” she said.

Of course the CNN gang, in need of something interesting to talk about while waiting endlessly for election returns, interpreted her message to be she would run for president if asked.  That was not what I heard her say.  What I heard was far more ominous for Barack Obama.  I think she was saying she would be happy to help the Republican candidate try to get the Obama administration out of office.

Palin could easily neutralize any damage done to the party over the religious freedom, contraception and condom issue by refocusing the debate on issues she believes are far more important to women, individual freedom, the economy and gas prices.

Obama's Chicago gang could once again underestimate Sarah Palin if they push her too hard while trying to interfere in the Republican primary process. Perhaps the next song President Obama will be singing will be the blues classic, Obama's Got the Wailing Palin Blues.

South Carolina Primary - Gingrich & Palin versus ABC & CNN

Winners and Losers

Well the final days of the South Carolina primary have been everything we can expect from a state that started the American Civil War.  There was so much smoke blowing over Fort Sumter in Charleston yesterday it may take weeks for the politicians and media to emerge from the fog.

There are times you have got to love the rough and tumble world of democracy American style and there are times you have got to love the Constitutional freedoms America has protected that leave the rest of the world in shock.

If you want a show come to America and watch the elections because there is not a country on Earth that does it like America.  Now, if you listen to the Main Street or Lame Street media reports you would draw two conclusions.  First the Republicans are self-destructing and second that Obama is going to be anointed to a second term.

Fortunately, the American people long ago knew better than to believe the media as long before politicians hit the bottom of the list of least respected occupations the media were right at the bottom, next to lawyers.

There is a reason no more than five million out of 310 million people watch a network news show every night.  There is a reason newspapers are dying, while network and cable television news continue to decline in viewers every year.

People don't trust the media any more than they trust politicians.  That may very well be the saving grace for our nation.

The media would have you believe the Republicans are destroying each other in South Carolina and there is no chance they can recover in the general election.  Did they forget that just four short years ago the same thing was happening to the Democrats?

In 2008 Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were brutally fighting it out in South Carolina as Obama accused former President Bill Clinton of fanning the flames of racism to win over votes for his wife.  Did the media today forget how nasty the 2008 Democratic show had been?

Well Obama did win the primary but he did not become the consensus leader until June 3, 2008, and Hillary did not withdraw until June 7.  That is over four months from now yet the media acts as if this Republican primary campaign should be over.  Nonsense!  It will be over when the people, not the media, decide.

So ABC News, along with the Washington Post, tries to trash the Romney and then Gingrich campaigns in the final days before the primary with much hyped exposés and CNN jumps on the band wagon when two days before the primary John King, CNN moderator, opened the last presidential debate by asking Gingrich if he told his ex-wife in 1999 that he wanted an "open" marriage so he could continue an affair.

When ABC and CNN take the lead and are blindly followed by most of the lame street media in allowing such babble to dominate the presidential campaign coverage there is a serious disconnect with reality.

Gingrich, being the gregarious opportunist that he is, promptly blasted the CNN host, the national media, and the liberal universe drawing two standing ovations before the debate had hardly begun.   It was a performance equal to anything the legendary populist Huey Long of Louisiana (Democrat) achieved on the national political stage 75 years ago.

Like him or not old Newt fanned the flames and rallied the people against the media and in the process, the media obsession with protecting President Obama may have backfired.  Just two days before the debate Sarah Palin came out of mothballs to help save Newt from the "elite" media with a "kind of" endorsement Sarah Palin style.

Just when the liberals were certain Palin had been blasted into oblivion by three years of media massacre of her and her reputation, Sarah comes to Newt's defense.  It is very likely when the dust settles after this primary Gingrich will turn around his imminent collapse according to the media and win the primary, and the liberal media will have awakened the Momma Bear of Alaska.

There you have it, the winners and losers, and the primary is not until tomorrow.  South Carolina gave us Obama, Hillary and Bill Clinton tossing charges of racism four years ago.  Now they have given us an energized Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin.  It could be an interesting year.

Healing the Wounds of Tucson - 1/12/2011 - What Sarah Palin Really Said

.

No sound clips or edits, here is what Sarah Palin really said about the tragedy.  Double click on video for full size.  MSNBC should end their nonsense and join the mourning rather than inflame partisanship in America.
