HUFFPOLLSTER: It’s Finally Election Day, And Things Look Good For Democrats
Go vote, and then read on for poll-based projections and a look back at 2016.
By Natalie Jackson, Ariel Edwards-Levy, and Janie Velencia
HuffPost’s poll-based forecasts give Hillary Clinton the win and the Democrats a narrow Senate majority. Many Americans are going to be unhappy regardless of the outcome. And we take a look back at the campaign. This is HuffPollster for Tuesday, November 8, 2016.

POLL-BASED PROJECTIONS GIVE CLINTON THE WIN - HuffPollster: “The HuffPost presidential forecast model gives Democrat Hillary Clinton a 98.2 percent chance of winning the presidency. Republican Donald Trump has essentially no path to an Electoral College victory.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

What the HuffPost did not mention back then nor since the election was that there was a Trump victory forecast in the HuffPost, and not on election day but nineteen days BEFORE the election, published on October 19, 2016 in the HuffPost, almost a month before the actual vote.
At the time Trump was double-digits behind in the polls.
More remarkably, however, was the earlier story did not just project a win for Trump, but it gave a detailed timeline of how the vote would change throughout the day and night of the election in the form of bulletins, even forecasting the totals would stop changing in late evening and by the middle of the night the realization that Clinton actually would lose the election.
Well I was a HuffPost Contributor at the time and I wrote the story which can be found in the HuffPost archives.  Here is exactly what was published in the HuffPost on the election results three weeks before the election took place.

Polls Close in East - Hillary Declared Winner
The polls just closed in the East while remaining open in the Midwest and West, but the mainstream media has already declared Hillary Clinton the 45th and first female in our nation’s history President.
Based on the results of Exit Polls throughout the country, most media declared Hillary the decisive winner. The Exit Polls are interviews with actual voters leaving the voting booths.
Unlike other political polls of which there are many, only one presidential Exit Poll exists and is taken. Since the poll is owned by a coalition of the major television networks, and it is not released in it’s entirety to the public, there is no way to validate or verify the results.
In spite of the tremendous media bias against Donald Trump and media devotion to Hillary Clinton, it still seems a bit odd the networks declared her the winner with just below 5% of the national vote cast and counted.
Over 50% of the public still has time to get out and vote. One might suspect there is media collusion in trying to discourage possible Trump supporters in these states to give up and not vote for Trump.

Historic Hillary Victory a Tidal Wave claim Pundits
The polls have now closed in the continental United States as the nation and world await the results of the presidential election. So far just 22% of the popular vote has been reported.
Early absentee voting tallies indicate a record number of Americans cast their ballots before election day. Political pundits say it is another great sign for a Hillary landslide. “Banner headlines” in the major newspapers early editions, along with a never ending stream of “braking news” bulletins on television networks rejoice in the Clinton victory over Donald Trump, as projected by the media.
No results are official until certified by the election boards in each state. None have been certified yet and the national tracking map indicates no electoral votes have been awarded.

Top of Form
Bottom of Form
The national media continues to tout the Exit Polls and a Hillary landslide but the release of actual vote totals is at an excruciatingly slow pace by the states.
Those votes reported to the media indicate a much closer race than the Exit Poll blowout projection. No pattern is emerging in voting other than a near dead heat in national vote total while the seven key swing states remain too close to predict at this time.
Could it be the national news media Exit Poll is wrong? Early indications suggest if the TV networks actually reported the results received in Exit interviews, the voters were giving misleading answers to the media.
Perhaps voters believe they have a right to keep silent when it comes to elections, an exercise of their right to privacy.
At the same time, there are reports of much higher new voter totals than expected, and the turnout among Independents and Republicans is up significantly.

Clinton Landslide fails to Materialize - Exit Polls Wrong - but How Wrong?
A haunting silence has overcome the nation as Americans wake up and go to work expecting to hear from our new President Hillary Clinton. Instead, there is a heightened sense of anxiety on the part of those prematurely declaring Clinton the victor.
After late night calls for a Clinton victory celebration, her failure to pull away in the electoral count has stunned and silenced her Establishment friends.
While all seven key swing states hang perilously in the balance, the leader in popular votes swings wildly from Clinton to Trump and back like a pendulum on steroids.
Perhaps the Populist Revolution did not fade away as predicted by the Establishment and their news media. Maybe the election has nothing to do with Donald Trump but is a referendum on Clinton and the Establishment.
If proven true, it will be the greatest upset in election history far surpassing the Truman - Dewey race in 1948.

Hillary Clinton collapsing in polls as Liberal Media hit panic button - Oops, maybe the election is not over yet! Her House of Cards comes down!

.

News Media Scrambles to explain away Hillary collapse in Polls - ABC caught in Middle with faulty sampling data

The Washington Post ABC News tracking poll shows Hillary Clinton collapse from a twelve-point lead to six points in just three days.  This astonishing collapse in her lead does not even reflect the devastating news about the Obamacare financial fiasco, or the never-ending stream of damaging emails released by Wiki Leaks, which detail how the Clinton organization made a non-profit foundation into a multi-million dollar slush fund for the family.

The tracking poll, under ABC news anchor and political director George Stephanopoulos, deviated from three other tracking polls by twelve points just three days ago when all the liberal news networks declared the race was over and Hillary was the winner.

Stephanopoulos, you might remember, is a former United States Democratic Party political adviser who served as a Communications Director for the Bill Clinton 1992 Presidential Campaign and worked for President Clinton with Rahm Emanuel, Clinton fundraiser and Obama Chief of Staff.  George subsequently became Clinton's White House Communications Director, then Senior Adviser for Policy and Strategy before departing in December 1996.

Did I mention George Stephanopoulos also contributed several thousand dollars to the Clinton Foundation, after he joined ABC News, which seems to be a conflict of interest for a news anchor of a major television network?

The Hillary Clinton campaign adopted the news media strategy of saying the presidential race is over, thus allowing Clinton to reduce the number of campaign events, to attend a concert by British pop singer Adele, and redirect her efforts to getting house and senate candidates elected.  Over-confidence by the nominee seemed to be dominate in the past few weeks.

What in the world, is a British endorsement going to do in the American presidential campaign?  Last time a politician tried to influence an election in another country, like when President Obama went to the United Kingdom and told the voters to vote against withdrawing from the European Union or there would be a world economic collapse, the British voters ignored him and voted to leave the EU, and there has been no economic collapse.

Now Hillary attends a concert of Adele, gets an endorsement, and considers it a campaign event.  About the only contribution Adele can make to the American election is to remind Hillary how to handle being sick and cancelling concert appearances, which she does often.

As for the polls, when word leaked out that the polls were purposefully over-sampling Democrats, not even the Washington Post could stand the heat.  Three days ago, the poll reflected a nine percent over-sample; today the same poll reduced the Democrat over-sample to seven percent.  There was no mention of this poll manipulation in reports today of the huge collapse in Clinton support by ABC or George.

The ABC poll remains six to seven points different from all three other tracking polls due to the continued over-sample of Democrats.  In truth, there is a dead heat in the race and it is far too close to call, very different from the networks and newspapers claiming last week, the race was over, and projecting a Hillary landslide.

So does this constitute "rigging" the election as Trump claimed?  The voters will be the judge on Election Day.  Enjoy the next week of liberal national media types choking over the real status and all of a sudden trying to explain Trump might have a shot after all.

The California Shake and Bake - More than a Quake - Too Much to Take - the Trump and Clinton Wake

.

The official news media report on the California earthquake warning seems to have upset some people but as with all things in the news, what is the hidden meaning?  In this case, what is the hidden cause and meaning?

Could this have anything to do with the political presidential campaign underway?  Let us face it, this is a campaign for the ages that has finished off the political process, the institutions of America, the news media of America, so why not California and the world?

The Book of Revelations may have the Four Horsemen but we have got Hillary, the Donald, throw in a Wild Billy for good measure, with the Fourth being none other than Barack Obama whose legacy rests in the hands and mouths of the other three.

This is a campaign for the ages so it might as well be heralding the End Times because what will be left when this finally ends, probably nothing of consequence.

So we can hardly fault California for being the starting point for the End of Time and it would only make sense a giant earthquake would swallow up the state being it is the last outpost for liberal purity.

Most fair minded Americans realize there is something dreadfully wrong with this presidential election.  It is bad enough we have to pick the lesser of two evils, but add in the baggage of past presidents and the load is too great to absorb.

So get this for 2016 logic.  We have a Republican president who was defeated by a Democratic governor of Arkansas because of an Independent - and we all know Independents have no status in America.  Then we have the same Republican president who got whipped by the Democratic Arkansas governor now endorsing the wife and former First Lady of the Arkansas governor who whipped him because the Republican now running for president whipped the former Republican president's kid.

Bring on the End Times, it has to make more sense than the present.  Did I mention the former First Lady of the Arkansas governor who whipped the former Republican president that now supports her got whipped by the present Democratic president who has now joined forces with the former Republican president to back the former First Lady who nearly beat him and whose husband whipped the former Republican president.

Please note all members of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Hillary, Donald, Billy, and Barack are all products of the venerable Ivy League that has controlled the presidency for 28 straight years and I am certain this information has something to do with the End Times.

American Elections 8 - Tips for International Followers - What do the Trump and Clinton victories in New York really mean?

.

So Donald Trump, after two bad weeks under assault by the Stop Trump movement and Ted Cruz, did not cave in, give up, or act like the petulant rich kid the news media believes he is.

First, he got mad, then, he started taking actions to be certain he did not repeat his or the campaign's mistakes.  He stayed loyal to his campaign manager when they charged him with assault and battery in Florida.  After extensive review, the Florida prosecutor dropped the case when it became obvious he was trying to protect Trump.

Trump also learned a valuable lesson; the media has far too much access to him, and use the access to try to get him defeated.  When Chris Matthews, MSNBC anchor and Hillary Clinton worshiper got him on his show he caused a whole lot of trouble by twisting Trumps comments on a hypothetical abortion situation.

Then Cruz won Wisconsin, stole a few delegates from Trump in a few minor states, and boldly preached he was the only hope for the Establishment to stop Trump.  There is something soulless about Ted Cruz and his win at all costs attitude.  Cruz, who at one time was public enemy number one to the Establishment he now claims to champion, is all over the place.

When you take the son of a preacher man, send him to Princeton and Harvard where he became an exceptional debater, I guess you expect a return on investment.  What did the media fail to tell you about the debate background of Cruz, debaters are trained masters at advocating and defending BOTH sides of every issue with equal passion and resolve.

In other words, you are a professional at speaking out of both sides of your mouth or you cannot be a Harvard Ivy League debater.  Cruz can point out without hesitation that he will double-cross any bridge thrown in front of his campaign when he encounters it, and do it with hot passion, cold facts, and an intellectual disregard for the lowly humans he so desperately wants to represent.

After getting Ted the most expensive education known to Mankind, he then jumped into politics where he met his wife to be, a rapid climber in the Wall Street and presidential political fields.  Thus the protective shroud of Goldman Sachs was bestowed on Ted who was bailed him out with a ONE MILLION dollar secret Goldman loan to his Texas Senate race when he ran out of money just before a run-off election.

Ted is just following in the footsteps of many predecessors in politics like Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Rahm Emanuel, and Barack Obama to name a few, beholden to the Wall Street behemoths like Goldman Sachs and their brethren.

In addition to the "Establishment" which no one can define, add the news media to the Stop Trump movement as they have devoted thousands of television hours and millions of printed words trying to warn people of the dangers posed by a Trump presidency, and promoting any effort by anyone to dump Trump.

The media called him a clown, a joke, an idiot, and a loser before the campaign even started and as more and more people joined the Trump populist revolution, the media found themselves being defensive just like the Trump opponents.  One by one Trump destroyed his opposition, there were 17 candidates running for president.

The Stop Trump political hacks threatened with losing their highly paid place in the American political consultancy if Trump is successful, have spent tens of millions of dollars in attack ads paid for by the Establishment fighting the Trump juggernaut.

Then came NYC with Trump exploding past all prognosticators prognostications, whew, that was a mouthful, and he not only broke the 50% barrier but destroyed it by winning 61% to 25% for Kasich and 12% for Cruz.  Hillary Clinton walloped Bernie Sanders 58% to 42%.

In other words, the media experts were wrong, the political experts were wrong, even the opposing campaigns were wrong.

Then Trump demonstrated he has learned a lot and made changes to address his problems.  He hired new campaign aides, he has toned down the criticism, stopped using derogatory nicknames for his opponents, actually referred to Cruz as "Senator Cruz," and Trump only spoke for eight minutes in one of the shortest victory speeches of the campaign.

Oh yeah, he also increased his delegate lead to nearly 300 and greatly improved his chances of winning the GOP nomination before the GOP convention.

Watch for a rapidly changing campaign as the new Trump starts to shift into position to take on Hillary in the general election.  By the way, for all the Democrats and news media who claim Trump cannot win the presidential election because all women hate him, Trump won 57% of the women vote in the primary.

Hillary provided the knockout punch to Sanders but he has so far refused to fall to the canvas so stay tuned.  Sanders pushed Hillary into becoming the most liberal, progressive, and near socialist candidate to ever win the party candidacy.

Between her being the champion for minorities and illegal residents, the champion for social issues, and a left wing ideologue and demagogue, she has a long ways to shift to win the middle of the road public in the general election.
