Last night President Obama landed at Andrews AFB in the middle of a devastating 3/4 inch snowfall and his helicopter ride to the White House was grounded thus resulting in an unplanned car caravan for the thirty minute trip.

Unfortunately, the entire city was paralyzed by the insignificant and unexpected snow so all streets and highways from Washington DC to Baltimore, to Richmond, anywhere in fact including in Washington, brought the nation's capitol to a standstill rivaling the congressional inertia already in existence.

As the giant Presidential Secret Service SUVs slid sideways into the curbs trying to get to the White House advance teams were pushing cars in front of the caravan out of the way and about an hour later the President finally got to the White House.

Prognosticators said it was a sign that he did not belong in the White House in the first place.  Political analysts said it was a plot by Republicans to demonstrate how ineffective he was as president.  Palin said, what do you expect from idiots, and Cruz wanted to carpet bomb the motorcade.

Trump, of course, said HIS helicopters had no problem with less than an inch of snow and that was another reason he should be president.  Hillary mentioned something about a Socialist plot by Bernie to stop her best friend Barack Obama.

Here is what The Washington Post said about Obama.

"Even President Obama’s motorcade was affected, making its way from Joint Base Andrews at 7:26 p.m. through suburban Maryland and the District. The vehicles stopped at most stoplights and eased their way through the slow-moving traffic, often employing sirens and flashing lines.

After nearly an hour, the vehicles, slipping and skidding, started making more aggressive use of their sirens and stoplight privileges. The ride ended at the White House at approximately 8:40 p.m."

Latest weather forecast.  Citizens stormed the National Weather Center and burnt it to the ground while Walmart reports record profits from panicked people, gas stations sold out gas supplies, hardware stores sold out salt, and groceries sold out ice for when the electric power goes out.  In short, an aura of intellectual constipation has swept over the news media, weather reporters, and public in the Eastern USA.  Nothing new about that.

While many people are looking back on pivotal events of 2015 -- famous deaths, terrorism, and the horse and pony Republican presidential debates -- a disturbing solar flare report is trending again. 

Recently, the White House made preparations for unpredictable and severe space weather events. And much of the clamor focuses on the possibility of a catastrophic coronal mass ejection striking Earth, citing an AOL latest news story. 

According to a video report, an intense solar flare narrowly missed a direct hit with Earth by a matter of days in 2012. NASA said an intense CME launched towards the planet at speeds of over 6 million miles per hour. 

At that speed, it would have taken the enormous flare 13 hours or so to reach our atmosphere. Consequently, the effects would have been catastrophic. As the news journalist says, it would have thrown us back to the Ice Age, so to speak, as many power grids would have been taken offline.

In October, the Obama Administration published the National Space Weather Action Plan, under the auspices of the National Science and Technology Council. The scope of the 44-page document is defined as such:

"With the objectives of improving understanding of, forecasting of, and preparedness for space-weather events (both the phenomena and their effects), the National Space Weather Strategy defines six strategic goals to prepare the Nation for near- and long-term space-weather effects."

 

NASA describes solar flares or coronal mass ejections as huge bursts of energy that launches materials from the sun. If the Earth's orbit takes it into the path of the solar mass; the results can be disastrous for a race highly dependent on electronic technologies.

One scientist painted an ominous picture of what could have occurred had the planet suffered a direct hit from the solar flare three years ago. 

"If it had hit, we would still be picking up the pieces." 

Here's putting things in perspective: Space meteorologists and teams of experts agree that the 2012 solar flare could have caused widespread damage and psychological effects to the tune of $2 trillion. Comparatively speaking, based on the sun's recent volatile activity, officials fear a cataclysmic solar flare that is 1,000 times larger. The costs are immeasurable. 

Doomsday thinkers say the White House report telegraphs a message that human life may be on borrowed time, that a space storm capable of mass extinction is brewing. No credible sources are reporting such extreme Earth events. However, one has to wonder why federal authorities are mulling the idea.

NSA Director Says Chinese Cyber Hackers Can Shut Down U.S. Power Grid

NSA Director Michael Rogers says that Chinese cyber hackers can shut down the power grid in the United States and essentially end life as we know it in America. According to the federal official, China and “one or two” other countries are capable of launching cyberattacks that terminate the ability of the power grid to function and shut down other “critical systems” nationwide.

The real possibility of massive and devastating power grid cyberattacks has long been discussed by both national security experts and the five million prepper families in the United States, but has not officially been confirmed by a “top cyber official” in the federal government until now. Former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said, not long after leaving office, that a cyberattack on the power grid was a matter of “when,” not “if.”

During a House Intelligence Committee hearing, NSA Director Michael Rogers said “adversaries” of the United States are currently engaging in “electronic reconnaissance” on a regular basis. Such activities are being conducted in order to ensure that China and other adversarial nations are “in a position to disrupt the industrial control systems” such as the power grid, which enable food and medication delivery and allow chemical facilities and water treatment plants to function.

The NSA director also said, “All of that leads me to believe it is only a matter of when, not if, we are going to see something dramatic. [In cyberspace] You can literally do almost anything you want, and there is not a price to pay for it.”

What is wrong with this picture?  On May 21, 2001, nearly four months BEFORE the tragic 9-11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center at a News Conference at the National Press Center in Washington, D.C. a new company announced a cyber security system that could block any cyber attack on our power grid and any other critical digital operations in America.

Who was the first client of Invicta Networks,  the new company, the NSA.  So this week, 13 years later, NSA admits we have no defense for our power grid from a cyber attack.  Yet 13 years ago, they were testing a system that could protect our power grid.  What happened?

Special briefings were presented to the top cyber officials in the White House, Pentagon, and Intelligence agencies including the cyber czars like Richard A. Clarke for President Bush and President Obama.

In the time since 9-11 our government spent billions and billions of dollars on cyber security to protect the economy, banks, the power grid, classified government data bases and who knows what else.  Yet in the past year hackers have stolen over 500 million credit card, banking and phone records of our citizens.  Some protection.

The same ineffective computer security companies that dominated the Internet in 2001 dominate the Internet in 2014 except many have been acquired by giant defense contractors.  So the same companies that control the most powerful weapons systems in the world also dominate cyber security in the world.  Do you feel more secure as a result?  

Certainly the systems are not working if NSA says we are vulnerable.

Contrary to what NSA said, China is not the only threat.  There are Russian hackers, former Russian KGB and now Russian mob hackers, hackers from the Netherlands, the independent group Anonymous and of course employees and contractors for our very own intelligence agencies (remember Edward Snowden and NSA).

Congress should investigate why the White House national security advisors and USA intelligence agencies ignored solutions to our problems over the years and blocked companies like Invicta from protecting American assets.  Perhaps the true extent of our deception has not been discovered.

Obamaville October 6 - Good Old Joe May Become Expendable Joe in 2012 - Joe Biden, VP

On the heels of Obama's strange Rolling Stone interview, yet another dismal jobs report today, Joe Biden's rather inflammatory remark about Republicans and Obama's speech yesterday when his Presidential Seal fell off the podium, comes a report from super Democratic sleuth Bob Woodward that the president is considering dumping good old Joe for Hillary in 2012 to have any chance of winning re-election.

The things people do to promote book sales. Have you noticed that all the Democratic insiders are rushing books to print before the midterm election? When you add the avalanche of new books written by all the liberal media, especially everyone appearing on the liberal bastion MSNBC, you might think their publishers realized if Obama loses big in less than four weeks there might not be a market for losers.

To his credit Obama handled the reaction to his interview okay by saying nothing knowing the liberal media would drop the story immediately to protect the president. As for the Presidential Seal falling he laughed that off in uncharacteristic Obama fashion as spontaneous humor is not his long suit. Here is how he handled it.




Biden's GOP remark, made in jest as most gaffes uttered by Biden, was quickly buried by the media as well. But Acording to a pool report from Tuesday’s event in Dayton, Minnesota Biden was telling the crowd that Democrats know how to balance the budget. He said, “If I hear one more Republican tell me about balancing the budget, I am going to strangle them.”

Of course VP Biden has a reputation for saying things. As Senator of South Carolina Lindsey Graham put it, "If there were no gaffes, there'd be no Joe."

1. Telling wheelchair bound Missouri Senator Chuck Graham to stand up to be recognized at a rally. "Chuck, stand up, let the people see you," said Biden at the rally. He then noticed the wheelchair and added, "Oh, God love ya...What am I talking about?" He tried to mend the situation and got the whole audience to stand up for Graham.

2. Calling Obama "Barack America." While introducing Barack Obama at a rally in August of 2008, Biden said, "This election year, the choice is clear. One man stands ready to go for change we so desperately need. A man I proudly call my friend. A man who will be the next President of the United States -- Barack America..."

3. Another Biden's gaffe that made Obama uneasy came at an anti-HIV rally. When Biden was asked about AIDS prevention in young people, he started talking about denial and "lack of honesty." He than launched his tirade about the importance of testing saying, "I got tested for AIDS. I know Barack got tested for AIDS. There is no shame in being tested for AIDS..." The audience broke out in laughter, and Obama had to make a correction and say that he got tested for AIDS along with his wife Michelle after traveling to Kenya.

4. Biden was caught on amateur camera talking about an elusive connection between Dunkin' Donuts and Indian people. "In Delaware, the largest portion of the population is Indian-Americans," said Biden. "You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.... I'm not joking."

5. The one gaffe that actually had some consequences and required immediate clarification from the press relations office was when Vice President Biden talked about the swine flu on NBC's Today show. While addressing the issue of prevention, Biden said, "I would tell members of my family - and I have - I wouldn't go anywhere in confined places now. It's not just going to Mexico, if you're in a confined aircraft and one person sneezes it goes all the way through the aircraft. That's me. I would not be at this point, if they had another way of transportation, suggesting they ride the subway. If you're out in the middle of a field and someone sneezes, that's one thing. If you're in a closed aircraft or a closed container, a closed car, a closed classroom, it's a different thing." Biden's spokeswoman had to issue a statement after the interview saying the Vice President did not mean to unduly alarm anyone. However, representatives of air carriers expressed their frustration, saying air travel was still safe.

At any rate, gaffes are frequent with Good Old Joe which might be why the White House is considering dumping him for Hillary in 2012. Of course the White House quickly denied the report by Woodward just a few days after saying Woodward was accurate in his book on Obama's War that was filled with inside information, some controversial. So do we believe Bob Woodward or not?

Did New Jersey Lose $400 million Education Grant for Opposing Obama & Teacher's Union?

In a state long accustomed to knowing the price you pay for corruption and whose new Republican Governor, Chris Christie, made his mark prosecuting corruption in the state, it seems as if there were some strange actions by the Obama administration, the teacher's union and some of New Jersey's old politicians to inflict cruel and extreme punishment for an innocent clerical error that cost the people and students of the state $400 million in Obama education funds.

The New Jersey application lost the $400 million dollars for two reasons, a clerical error where TWO LINES had the wrong fiscal year data, and because the state teacher's union refused to sign off on the application. Had the reviewers asked the state to correct the two lines out of over 1,000 pages of application they would have received the money. Or, had the teacher's union backed the state plan for students they would have the money.

New Jersey is the only state that was facing a severe financial crisis because of bizarre tax increases and corruption after nearly a decade of Democratic leadership in the governor's office and used the ballot to clean house. The people threw out the old guard, brought in a former straight talking prosecutor, and backed him as he took on the teacher's union to bring sense to the budget and eliminate ridiculous health and pension benefits that would bankrupt the state over time.

That is democracy at work. Unfortunately, the old governor, Jon Corzine, was one of Obama's top economic advisors who had been CEO of Goldman Sachs, the top Obama contributor and fund raiser, and was one of Obama's top political supporters, while he was raiding the Jersey treasury. Obama went out of his way to campaign for his buddy, and the news media said Christie did not have a chance to win. Fortunately, the Democratic party and media no longer tell the voters of Jersey who to elect.

So we know the victory of Christie over Corzine was a huge embarrassment to the Obama gang, in particular the Rahm Emanuel political operatives who grew up playing Chicago hardball. Did I mention the teacher's union is one of the strongest financial supporters of Obama, and of the Democratic Senator from New Jersey Robert Menendez? The teacher's union spent hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to stop the governor from reforming the entire state budget before being overwhelmed by the people in local school board elections.

Did I mention that Menendez is the head of the most powerful political machine of the Democrats in the Senate, he is Chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and a strong Obama ally? Did I mention that two citizen watchdog groups, SourceWatch and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, both say the same Senator Menendez is, well here are their words about Menendez.

Under Investigation by: The Department of Justice.

Under Investigation for: Sen. Menendez is under investigation by the Newark, NJ U.S. Attorney’s Office for collecting rent from an anti-poverty group for which he helped win federal funds, the North Hudson Community Action Corporation. The group was run by a donor to Sen. Menendez’s campaign. More recently, in 2007, federal investigators began looking into Sen. Menendez’s relationship with his former chief of staff, lobbyist Kay LiCausi, to determine whether the senator improperly helped her or her clients win contracts and federal funding.

So why do I mention all these different factors in a story about Jersey losing $400 million? Because I worked for governors (including New Jersey) and congress along with federal administrations and I can guarantee you no applicant for a program of this nature would be denied funds for an obvious clerical error that could have been corrected with a phone call.

This incident has all the earmarks of political retaliation by the Obama White House gang to punish the governor and people of New Jersey for daring to take on the all powerful teacher's union. A full investigation of the application process and the refusal of the federal reviewers to ask for the clerical corrections is surely warranted.

More important, as every insider in Washington knows, a US Senator has more influence than anyone else in Congress. Menendez is supposed to have direct links to Emanuel and Obama because of his Democratic party leadership position. He also has no love for Governor Christie who disrupted the plans of the Democrats to keep control of the state.

If Menendez had done anything to ask the Education Department or Obama to allow the state to fix the innocent clerical error it would have been done because that is the Washington way. Never underestimate the power of a sitting senator. Obviously Menendez did nothing to help his own state and students. Or he does not have the ear of the White House. Also did Menendez call the teacher's union and asked them to sign off for the $400 million benefit to students and teachers? I mean is their hatred of the new governor so consuming that the children of New Jersey are mere pawns in a political -power play?

What happened defies logic, is contrary to the Washington way, seems to indicate the Obama people and Menendez used the action to punish the new Republican governor, and would be worthy of criminal action if anyone in the White House or Menendez's office failed to help the state do something that was always done by agencies, help the applicants have a complete application and receive the money they deserved for the students and people of New Jersey. FOR SHAME!

NBC & Obama Gang Stage "Historic" End to Iraq Combat - Then get Busted!

It seems the Obama boys cannot stop trying to manipulate the national news media to get favorable stories and to drive unfavorable stories off the air and there is no grater co-conspirator than the White House propaganda machine at NBC and MSNBC.

Last night on NBC news and then on every MSNBC talking head program we were served a historic story of the last combat troops leaving Iraq and crossing the border to Kuwait. Lights, camera, applause and action and there you have it, Obama meeting his promise to remove combat troops as the MSNBC heads feigned tears.

The story continued this morning on Morning Joe and other MSNBC outlets to maximize the bang for the buck. This well planned and staged media extravaganza went without a hitch as reporter Richard Engel rode with the troops through the border crossing, acting as if he didn't know the scripted moment was being staged and as if he didn't know what the border crossing looked like.

There had to be a sigh of relief from the White House as they watched NBC document history and maybe knock the Moslem mosque at Ground Zero and Obama's strange flip flopping on his position out of the headlines.

But alas they failed once again to trick the American public although they did trick the left leaning media into buying into the deception. You see, after the NBC exclusive of the last combat soldier leaving Iraq we come to find out there are actually 6,000 other combat soldiers still fighting in Iraq who will not be gone until the August 31 deadline.

Does this mean any other liberal media supporting Obama will have their own staging of the historic last combat soldier leaving Iraq? Are these media manipulators insane? Do they really think the public will buy this deception while 6,000 combat troops still remain in Iraq?

Shades of Dan Rather and CBS falsifying the military records of George Bush, Jr. to smear him in the 2004 presidential election. So here we go again, more media lies, more administration lies, and more deception by the politicians and media. These people should be investigated for fraud, the NBC people perpetrating the fraud should be thrown off the air and the Obama people using the brave military combat troops in Iraq as props for campaign commercials should be thrown out of public office.

I wonder if Obama knew about and approved of this cruel deception?

Here is the truth about how the staged broadcast was assembled as reported by Brian Stelter of Media Decoder.

Inside an NBC News control room, they were also nerve-racking, as the network prepared on Wednesday night to broadcast live from a convoy that carried elements of the last United States combat brigade to leave the country. It was a high-stakes broadcast, one that the network had secretly worked for weeks to pull off.

Shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, producers were transfixed on the monitors that showed the correspondent Richard Engel positioned inside one of the vehicles in the convoy. Every time the picture lapsed, a result of satellite hiccups, the volume in the room dropped, only to be replaced by sighs of relief when it was restored a second or two later.

“The magic of live TV,” M.L. Flynn, a producer, remarked to no one in particular.

The existence of the convoy was kept secret until 6:30 p.m. Eastern, the same time that the “NBC Nightly News” started. To transmit the images, NBC at great expense shipped its so-called Bloommobile to Iraq for the first time since the war began in 2003. The Bloommobile is a specially outfitted vehicle that allows the network to transmit live pictures via satellite while on the road.

David Verdi, a vice president at NBC News, said that before the war’s beginning in 2003, network executives asked themselves, “What do we think our audience expects from us in covering this war?”

“The unanimous answer was, our audience most likely expects to see this war live,” he said. “That was the initial idea for the Bloommobile.”

When the time came to talk about the end of the combat mission there, he added, “We came to the same conclusion — that our audience would expect to experience it live as it’s happening.”

On Wednesday night, Mr. Engel was positioned in one of the military’s armor vehicles, directly in front of the Bloommobile. The signal from his vehicle was sent via microwave to the Bloommobile, which transmitted it back to the United States.

NBC had something of a scare on Tuesday when one of its satellite transponders burnt out, a casualty of the hot weather there. A network technician was able to replace the transponder in time.

In the control room on Wednesday night, Ms. Flynn, the producer, communicated with Mr. Engel via an earpiece. As the live shot from Iraq faded a bit, the producer said, “Richard, can you tell the Bloommobile to stay closer to you?”

The images from NBC and other outlets are important for the United States as a public relations tool, as they reaffirm with color and sound that the country is winding down a widely unpopular combat mission. But they are in part a media construct. Though the media may yearn for a dramatic finish to the war, there is not likely to be one, at least not yet.

Next thing you know the war coverage will be filmed in Hollywood.

Sarah Palin Remains Top Media Draw and Fox News gets Benefit from Liberal Palin Obsession

Sarah Palin, now news commentator on Fox News, continues to baffle the liberal media who are forced to report on her if they want to get daily ratings and hits on the liberal web sites like Huffington Post, Salon.com and other Palin haters. This weekend her appearance on Fox News was reported in all three New York papers, the New York Times, Post and Daily News, the Washington Post (three different articles from the same Fox appearance), numerous daily newspapers, the liberal media (MSNBC, CNN, NPR, Public Broadcasting Network) network television and who knows who else.

Now in the days of journalistic integrity no self-respecting news media outlet would be stealing the story from a competitor but in today's news environment of hijacking and distorting stories by the media they have to swallow their integrity and report on public enemy number 1, Fox News to get the increased hits and views Palin power can deliver.



No one in the liberal camp delivers ratings like Sarah Palin just like no one in politics dominates Main Street media like Sarah Palin and since Palin knows better than to let the liberal media distort her message by granting interviews and giving them stories, they have to steal them from Fox News, Sarah's Facebook or Twitter postings.

Speaking of the liberal media, last week we reported on the liberal media conspiracy to manufacture the news about Palin starting with her nomination as VP by John McCain. The liberal plot, Journolist, was exposed by the Daily Caller and one of the tactics the unethical jerks of the liberal elitists did was to plant a story about her son Trig.



The media plotted to spread a rumor that Trig's mother was actually Bristol Palin, the former Alaska governor's daughter, and the rumor ran rampant among the liberal haters of the internet during the presidential campaign. Of course neither Obama or Biden did anything to discourage the liberals who were supporting them from spreading the rumor. The journalists also urged co-conspirators to used the reference to "Palin's Downs child" along with other negative terms of deception.



In response Palin wrote "There is a sickness and darkness in today's liberal media."

Sickness indeed and it goes much farther with the campaign hacking of her private emails to the incident last week on Facebook where her call to not build the Moslem mosque just two blocks from ground zero in NYC was deleted by Facebook from her Facebook page just because a Palin hater started a campaign to label her racist, yet another old liberal tactic. There are a lot of Jewish and other families who lost loved ones on 9-11 who agree with Palin on this issue. Facebook had to reinstate the comments and apologize to Palin for the un-American censorship, something we should all be concerned about.



As more and more truth comes out about the insidious plot to discredit Palin with lies, rumors and jokes, by many members of the liberal media, and the facts behind the exchange of these lies between the liberals in order to coordinate the deceit between news outlets, the more it becomes obvious the real victims were the people.

We trusted the news media to report the news and they did not. Many people formed unfavorable opinions of Palin because of what was reported, and now we know much of what was reported were lies. Honest Americans should reconsider their attitude about Sarah Palin in light of the plot that was exposed to smear her, a plot that continues to this day.



One wonders why the Obama campaign or White House don't condemn the acts. If President Obama really wants to stop the lies, polarization and partisanship that he and his followers set in motion he can help by stopping the liberal media from flaming the fires of hatred with lies about Sarah Palin and others. I mean they are his supporters.
