You can love them or hate them, but you cannot beat them – the US Women's World Cup Champions!

They were bold.
They were brash.
They were arrogant.
They were cocky.
They were outspoken.
They were irreverent.

They were Americans.

Oh yes, and World Cup Champions again!

Throughout the entire thirty-day length of the Women’s World Cup Championship over one billion fans from around the world watched in awe, sometimes horror, shock, and in the end respect for the US Women’s National Soccer Team.

In the final round of eight teams there were seven European teams versus the United States, the best competition the world had to offer.  Seven to one against you is just the kind of challenge Americans are born to thrive on.

Thrive they did by overcoming serious challenges on the pitch, along with wave after wave of controversy, condemnation, and consternation off the field.  In the end, the Americans let their actions on the field match their words and only the Americans were left standing at the end of the grueling battle.

You must have the skills to be champions, but you also must have the character to breath fire into your emotions to help you be the best in the world.  No one has ever done it better.  So now we know, you can love them or hate them but you cannot beat them.  For that they deserve the admiration of all those who questioned their actions on and off the field.

Can they help heal the Nation?

They defended the nation’s honor, perhaps they can help heal the nation as well.  As they return World Champions maybe they can help demonstrate those qualities that have been missing in our divided nation.

Partisan politics have dominated our landscape and driven millions into hatred, social chaos, fear, a lack of respect for others, and an unwillingness to work together to solve those problems.  In short, we no longer communicate.

If these champions are truly concerned with women’s rights, pay equality, and ending discrimination, they should know there is only one sure path to getting anything done to help their causes.

They need to be heard by the people who get things done in America, like the President.  If I were them, I would use the stage they earned as world champions to reach a greater stage like the President of the United States.  Rather than disrespecting the Office of the President they should agree to visit the White House so they can take their concerns to someone who can help them bring about change.

The Lesson of Speaker Pelosi

Maybe they can learn from Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.  Last week she had her Democrat controlled House pass a spending bill for immigration which differed from the bill supported by the president.  Trump’s bill crushed her efforts and he had bi-partisan support which she did not.  It was a masterpiece of power politics that even the news media has tried to ignore.

If the US team refuses to meet with the president as expected, they will eliminate their only chance to convince him to be their ally on some pretty reasonable women’s causes.  They might even find some unexpected support from the First Lady and the President’s daughter, and it is nice to have powerful allies in the White House.

The AOC Minefield

If they spurn the president and refuse to meet and the outspoken critic of the president on the women’s team, Megan Rapinoe, goes ahead with her announced plan to meet with the radical Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, known as AOC, the rare opportunity to be a voice for women will be blown.

Why, because AOC, while being the darling of the news media, has done absolutely nothing in Congress and is on the verge of destroying the Democrat Party.  Rapinoe should take heed of the words of Speaker Pelosi about AOC this weekend.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi again dismissed freshman like Rep.Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, downplaying the amount of power they had amid a flurry of attention the media gave them.
“All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world,” Pelosi said of Reps. Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, D-Minnesota, Rashida Tlaib, D-Michigan, and Ayanna Pressley, D-Massachusetts.

Her comments came during a New York Times interview, published on Saturday after those four voted against a Republican measure funding humanitarian assistance at the border – which was eventually backed by Pelosi.

Pelosi followed her Twitter comments, saying "But they didn’t have any following. They’re four people and that’s how many votes they got.”

The soccer team can be just another voice in the wilderness, or take their case to the highest authority.  Right now, they are pawns in a very dangerous game of credibility.

Obamaville 2010 - Rage Rules as our President of Democrats of America rejects 2/3 of Constituents

.

Reality is as reality seems and the rage and discontent in America has been fueled by the most partisan, polarizing and paralyzing new president in our modern history. Somewhere along the way after being sworn in as president Barack Obama and his Chicago gang made a series of assumptions that defy logic and reflect either a total misunderstanding of democracy or an arrogant exercise in power politics not see since, maybe Napoleon in France.

Socialism is a political system based on a perceived sense of entitlement. In modern times the very socialist leaning system so rigorously pursued by our president and his confidants is crumbling around the world in nation after nation, especially in Europe, that embraced the socialist notion of creating a society based on entitlement rather than hard work and productivity.

One by one the socialist experiments of the world have fallen into disarray just as our young, idealistic and inexperienced new president decided he knew what was best for America without consulting the American people he was elected to represent. In America an election victory, especially one by just 7 % as Obama achieved, is far from a mandate but an opportunity to lead.

In the sweet elixir of his victory he forgot the most important principles of politics in America, our president is not king and once elected our president serves all the people all the time, not just those he likes who blindly support him. Two years later, nothing has changed. Obama remains the President of the Democrats who still support him and everyone else be damned, including the Democrats who once supported him and he betrayed for political expediency.

Make no mistake, Obama's agenda has no regard for the little people who are the backbone and foundation of America. His elitist worldview is based on bringing to America what we have rejected for over 234 years. We have no intention of making all the mistakes of our older European friends who long ago jumped to socialism because they were seduced by leaders whose vision extended no further than their noses.

Europe is a really old place and they have seen thousands of years of monarchs, despots, dictators, crazy kings, revolutions, capitalism, socialism, nazism and communism all come and go in the name of God and the worker. Of course once they become popular the God part fades away.

Recent generations have seen the collapse of the empty promises of socialism and nation by nation is not paying for the socialist sins of their parents. The health care and education systems love by Obama are self-destructing in a sea of long term debt. The cradle to grave promise of social welfare and pensions is drowning in bankrupt nations, ever growing demands for entitlement, and the rejection of socialist and leftist government and their replacement with fiscally conservative governments.

From the UK to France, Spain to Greece, Ireland to Italy, they are all following the lead of the one nation that has most incorporated and imitated the American way, the nation of Germany. Led by Angela Merkel and her conservative government, Germany is the most powerful nation in Europe after being totally destroyed and gutted twice in the past century and after absorbing the ruins of East Germany into the German nation after the fall of the Soviet Union.

Of course that should not be surprising to those of us in America since over sixty million Americans are fully or partly of German ancestry, the largest ethnic block by far in America. These are the descendants of the German immigrants to America who built our unparalleled agricultural system in the 1800's and powered our industrial revolution in the 1900's.

Our young president seems to have forgotten the lessons of the past or never learned them as he continues to be president to only those who don't criticize or oppose him. Well two thirds of the people don't agree with him or the direction he is leading the country and his fall from grace and the fall from grace of his Democrat party is the only possible outcome when arrogance and elitism are imposed on the people of America.

To the people of America the socialist leaning agenda of Obama is a dinosaur that has failed and is self-destructing in Europe and around the world. Americans have no desire to be better at socialism than the rest of the world. Fact is we have no interest in being anything like the rest of the world. We have the most integrated, multi-cultural, and dynamic nation in the world. We have the most powerful economy, natural resources, agricultural production and military on earth.

Our economy ranks second to none with the second greatest economy on earth, China, five times smaller than ours. We are the most generous, charitable, forgiving free people on earth and we are the only nation where people are desperate to move here and are willing to risk arrest to get here.  We have a lot to be proud about and a lot more ambition, innovation, creativity and motivation than any people on earth.

Please Mr. President, respect our heritage not your naive vision. You work for us, all of us.

American Pride is Back in Chile No Thanks to Obama and Washington Politicians

.

At 8:30 this morning history was made when a rescue shaft reached 33 trapped miners in Chile who have been entombed over one half mile underground nearly two months. No miners have ever survived for two months underground and it was 33 days ago the rescue drills began a race to reach the 33 men. Ironic isn't it that the drilling to save 33 men took 33 days, that same number of years Jesus walked the earth.

Of course the American media with the exception of CNN completely missed the rescue and Obama and the American politicians were too busy tearing each other apart to recognize the importance of this event to America and America's place in the world.

You see the miners would have remained trapped in their tomb until Christmas if it had not been for the effort of a small American drilling company, Center Rock Inc., from a small town in Pennsylvania. When owner and President Brandon Fisher first heard it would take until Christmas to save the trapped miners he knew he had the equipment and technology to save them much faster and he contacted the Chile government.

Brandon began coordinating an international effort to get his equipment to the site and in use. With the help UPS who shipped it for free and his international contacts the equipment arrived and saved 2 1/2 months of the drilling time needed to reach the men. As they are pulled to freedom this weekend it will be the efforts of Brandon Fisher and his team working with the Chile government that made this possible.

There was no involvement by our haplessly incompetent government and our politicians were too busy trashing each other to take notice but in the end, it was the pride, skill, innovation and organization of Americans that helped save the miners in South America.

The government of Chile, by stepping in and taking charge of the disaster immediately rather than sitting back like the Obama administration did in the BP disaster, and by reaching out to the best people in the world for help unlike our BP experience, in which our government did not, that the potential of America was recognized and achieved.

Chile did a masterful job, Brandon Fisher and his Center Rock company team showed the world what the politicians could not, and the people of Chile now have a miracle. Nothing could highlight the power and importance of small business and innovationi in America more than this nor show it's value to the outside world. By the way, NASA specialists also provided valuable help to the rescue effort and Obama has gutted the NASA budget.
