Today one of Trump’s most trusted advisors, Nikki Haley, Ambassador to the United Nations, announced her resignation effective the end of the year.  She said she and the president discussed it almost a year ago.  Well the news media will never buy that because they have so many anonymous plants throughout the Trump administration no secret could be kept for a week, let alone almost a year, yet it was kept secret.

The Secret!

That is bad news for the media if Trump has finally figured out how to keep secrets in the White House.  Almost every story about Trump is the result of anonymous leaks from “supposed high-level sources” in the Trump administration.  Not this time, for one of the most important actions that might have a huge impact on the 2002 presidential election.

The lie!

Instead, CNNs Jim Acosta, and Wolf Blitzer, favorite targets of Trump for fake news stories, used the opportunity to run CNN breaking news segments saying Trump was considering his daughter to be the next Ambassador to the United Nations.  After two segments were broadcast, a notice was flashed that Trump said nepotism would prevent her appointment, which they did not report in the first two segments.

 

Typically, the left-leaning media follow each other with enhanced fake news.  This was no exception.  Why do they find it necessary to reinforce their own collapsing credibility with more distortions and lies?  As millions of people eliminate commercial and cable broadcast news because of the lies and distortions, the news media actually works to make Trump right, they are filled with lies and distortion.

The seismic story lost in the lies?

In the process they probably missed the truth, which could have a seismic impact on the 2020 election.  Since anonymous sources are standard operating procedure for the reporters of today, let me tell you what my anonymous source tells me is the back story behind the resignation of Nikki Haley.

Is it not odd that for the first time President Trump held a news conference to announce one of his top advisors was resigning?  Of course, it is.  Usually a Presidential Tweet makes such announcements.  As the President and Haley talked it was more like a “Woodstock” moment with each heaping praise on the other.  Remember, Nikki opposed Trump, endorsed another candidate in 2016, then became friends with Trump and eventually part of the inner circle of his tight knit trusted advisors.  She also won over many fans in the media and around the 

world.

You might say Nikki Haley was Trump's “Condoleezza Rice,” one of the most trusted and highly regarded insiders in the Bush administration.

So, what was behind the resignation?

According to my anonymous source, the result will be a blockbuster announcement that could insure the re-election of Donald Trump.  If true, our president will once again have outfoxed the news media and anti-Trump fanatics, and might have completely changed the 2020 election landscape.

Nikki Haley is one of the most effective and articulate people in the Trump cabinet.  With a tough midterm election in three weeks leading to the presidential race in 2020 her voice of reason would be a great asset to the Trump campaign.

There is a way to magnify that voice ten times over leading into the election.

What if Vice President Mike Pence, the loyal defender of all things Trump, also felt like he wanted a break from the political cauldron Trump and friends face?  It is certainly not too large a stretch.  That means Pence would be around through the 2020 election before needing to depart.

It also means a new VP must be selected before the primaries so they can be presented to the Republican National Convention in August of 2020.  What if Trump said Nikki Haley would be his new VP for the second term?

Suddenly, one of his most trusted cabinet advisors can join the campaign trail with Trump and Pence because she is now free of office, and she is heir apparent to the Office of the Vice President.  This move would send shock waves through the entire political world as she could give him the opportunity to help elect the first woman in history to the vice presidency.

I cannot even imagine the value she would be to the president’s campaign, the impact she could have on diminishing the message of many women’s groups opposed to Trump, and the fact her credentials are every bit as significant as those of Hillary Clinton, without the baggage of Bill or the Clinton Foundation.  In fact, if truth were told which is rare in presidential politics, this historic “shattering of the glass ceiling for women” would be Trump’s greatest achievement to date.

We all know the president likes the outrageous, and what a historic footnote in history that Donald Trump might be instrumental in getting the first female elected to one of the two highest offices in the nation.

The intent of the president in naming her vice-president is to help insure an overwhelming victory for his last term in office.  Yet Trump thinks everything through, which is why he can continually outfox the media and Democrats.  Trump knows after a president is finished, his legacy is still at risk.  The next Obama will come along and undo all the good Trump might have achieved.

There is only one way to protect a legacy, that is to make certain the next president is a loyal friend.  Trump will give Nikki Haley four years as vice president to prepare herself for election as the highly deserving first woman president of the United States in 2024, thus assuring a permanent Trump legacy.

My anonymous source says this might very well be the secret plan.  If so, he will have delivered on most all campaign promises, especially the one about “draining the swamp.”

Obama's Axelrod Slams Rosen for Slamming Romney

Just Shut Up - the CPT Achievement Award for Sticking both feet in one's big fat mouth.

Today is the aftermath of the firestorm kicked up when Hilary Rosen, close friend of David Axelrod and his wife Susan and Democrat spokesperson on cable news like CNN and others, wins the coveted "Just Shut Up award for making a quite derogatory comment about how Ann Romney, wife of Mitt Romney, has never held a job in her life and therefore has no business telling her husband women are worried about the economy.

What nonsense.  Once the firestorm started about how typical of liberal Democrats to consider a woman choosing to raise her children, Ann Romney has five boys, is out of touch on women's issues and the economy.

Of course that attitude on behalf of the liberal Rosen totally ignores the sacrifices of Ann Romney, and ignore her partnership with her husband in running for president.  It also ignores the fact she went through bouts with breast cancer and MS diseases.  In short, Rosen seemed to be testing a new element of the Obama war on women strategy, attack the wife since she was getting such good publicity.

Not surprising as the Obama campaign has used these rather dirty attack strategies throughout this and the last campaign.  It seems to be part of the Chicago School of Politics.

Remember when they accused former President Clinton of "raising the race issue" during the South Carolina primary in the last campaign.  It helped to stop Hillary Clinton's momentum in her battle for the presidency.

One would think Axelrod and Ploffe, the two politically paranoid Davids controlling everything Obama thinks, eats, does and says, would never let a close friend of Axelrod like Rosen shoot her mouth off about Ann Romney if that was not what they wanted.

I think it might have backfired as the first reaction of Obama's puppet masters the morning after Rosen dropped the incendiary bomb on CNN was to throw her under the bus denying all knowledge of her actions and trashing her comments.  What a friend.

Personally I think they panicked when they realized their spokesperson telling Ann Romney she never worked a day in her life thus casting Romney as a useless wife was really in no position to lecture any woman on the responsibilities of how to raise children.

Rosen is in a gay relationship and she and her partner do have children.  Since Rosen is the career breadwinner, however, she clearly doesn't have experience in what it takes to raise children, she leaves that to her partner.

Even that does not justify condemning someone for having never worked a day in her life.  Or condemning her because she and her husband oppose gay marriage.  On the other hand, it does reflect Rosen's feminist view of women who raise children.

Most of all, she is now a toxic political risk for the Obama campaign and thus she was thrown under the bus.  That means the rest of the liberal media is to ignore her as she no longer speaks for Axelrod or his wife.

Holy Week is the final week of Lent. It commemorates the events of our Lord's last week before His death. The chief festivals of Holy Week are Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Great Vigil (Holy Saturday). Holy Week, together with Easter, is the most sacred part of the Christian calendar -- the celebration of the death and resurrection Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

President Obama, along with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Mexican President Felipe Calderon hold a news conference in the Rose Garden of the White House April 2, 2012 in Washington, DC.

During questioning about Obamacare the President testily warned the Supreme Court not to strike down his health care law, a move that stunned political veterans.

Of course no mention was made of the controversial Keystone Pipeline from Canada to the US or the 45,000 Mexicans murdered by the drug cartel supplying illegal drugs to the US. But they must have talked about something.

Sarah Palin beats Katie Couric in ratings in the battle for network morning show Nielsen ratings even though Jack Rafferty of CNN, yet another GOP hater, guaranteed that Katie would easily beat Palin.

Kentucky wins 8th NCAA National Championship over Kansas.

Tuesday

Obama meets with news editors and openly attacks GOP nominee Mitt Romney for the first time, signaling an early start to the fall presidential election.  The president delivers blistering partisan attack on modern Republican Party.

Not even waiting until a GOP candidate is nominated to oppose him, Obama could no longer resist getting into the political fray attacking Republicans Romney and Paul Ryan, the only person in Washington to have a federal budget get approved by just one house of congress.  Obama should try it.

Romney wins three more primary elections in Wisconsin, Maryland and Washington, DC.

Baylor beats Notre dame in Women's NCAA National Championship.

Wednesday

Hollywood movie studio chieftain Jeffrey Katzenberg says he just wants President Obama to have a fair shot at a second term.  Katzenberg, the chief executive of DreamWorks Animation gave $2 million last year to the pro-Obama super PAC Priorities USA Action, which was almost a third of the $6.5 million raised by the political action committee through February.

Thursday - Maundy Thursday

Maundy Thursday is observed during Holy Week on the Thursday before Easter. Also referred to as "Holy Thursday" or "Great Thursday" in some Christian denominations, Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper when Jesus shared the Passover meal with his disciples on the night before he was crucified.

President Obama signed the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act at the White House.

Good Friday

The President uses the feast of the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross to host a White House conference on women Friday to highlight steps his administration has taken to improve opportunities and access for women in areas such as education, business and health care.

This political forum enabled the president to take advantage of his attacks on the GOP contraceptive issue while avoiding a discussion of the abortion issue.
