It is time for my Midterm prediction. Liberals, progressives, and news media may want to unpack the Prozac - Trump Trumps or gets Trumped?

Trump Trumps or gets Trumped?

It is time to put aside all fear, stop worrying about being wrong, and make my picks for the Midterm Election results.  I note with amusement my liberal friends and the Main Street Media have adopted the position that in projecting the results never commit to anything specific.  Thus, they hold to the belief that “it could go either way” and assume we are fools enough to think they actually picked a winner.

If I had their dismal record in picking winners and losers I guess I would be gun shy as well but I do not nor am I afraid to go on the record.  What good is writing about politics and not picking winners?  No one expects predictions to be right and those wrong will just deny it by saying their words were simply misunderstood.

My belief is neither party will be the winner, nor will the news media, for the only winner will be that dastardly Trump again.  Only a fool like Trump would have the gall to hijack the Midterm election and make it a referendum on himself.

For once again standing alone while the rest of the world goes the other way, Trump will Trump in my opinion.

While the margin in the House may be close, the Republicans will maintain the majority of seats and control the House.

In the Senate the fruits of Trump’s efforts will also pay off as I expect the final count will reflect an increase in GOP seats from 51 to 54 or 55.

Why do I think that way?

First, the Democrats, pollsters, and news media continue to use faulty methodology for polling as they do not understand how to account for the 43% of the population who are registered as Independents.  They are underrepresented in most all polls, do not like Trump's demeanor or attitude, do like Trumps delivery on campaign promises, and really like his Drain the Swamp attack.  These people know better than to trust any politician, political party, or member of the news media.  Results dictate how they will vote, not promises, personalities nor power.  At a minimum they can make a 4-5% difference in the actual vote.

Second, they fail to understand the bond Trump has made directly to the people.  Since day one of his political career he has rejected the notion that politics is good, effective, honest or sincere.  Trump always speaks directly to people, either in the audience or at the other end of the television broadcast.  As long as he maintains this direct connection, of which Twitter and pop up news conferences are tools, he can ignore the constant media efforts to direct the national agenda and try to influence public opinion in a liberal direction.

My predictions are most likely going to raise the fear and dread in the news media.  They might shock the Democrats as well but long ago they lost their emotional connection to the people.  Stress levels will be way up and sales of the anti-depressive drug Prozac should spike when the realization settles in that Trump’s victory is not at all about the Midterm, he has just laid the groundwork for the 2020 general election.

If the Russia Collusion investigation fades away with no convictions of Trump insiders, which there will not be, the Prozac intake may increase.  Add to that Trump being positioned to greatly increase his agenda and you can count on a new health care system, (note neither party has offered an alternative to Obamacare), and trade deals with China and other nations will make Trump unbeatable in 2020.

For all those who spent the last two years trashing the President and trying to make life miserable for him, you may need a lot more than Prozac to get through the next six years.  Should that happen the promised Blue Wave may become the Red Sea.  If I am right I hope you learn the lesson that when anyone tries to tell the people who or what they need, you have become expendable to the public.  It is time to hit the Delete button and move on.

The Politics of Hypocrisy - Why is media outrage over sexual misconduct STILL ignoring the real Truth?

The Politics of Hypocrisy - The American Election - Bill Clinton character reference for Hillary Clinton

hy·poc·ri·sy
həˈpäkrəsē/
noun
noun: hypocrisy; plural noun: hypocrisies
the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform; pretense.

Today we learned the meaning of hypocrisy in politics as last night Bill Clinton gave a rather surprising testament to the character and quality of Hillary Clinton as his girlfriend, wife, companion, mother, politician, and first mate.

Even such stalwart liberals as Rachel Maddow cringed at the thought of Bill Clinton talking about pursuing his wife in college, trying to work up the courage to touch her to get her attention, and all the great family moments.

Here in America we have a much different opinion of the character of Bill Clinton as you can tell from the following recent article in heavy.com/news.

Bill Clinton Sex Allegations: 17 Claims of Rape and Affairs

Published
As Hillary Clinton pursues a return to the White House, this time as president, she is facing attacks from presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and his supporters over the numerous sexual misconduct allegations her husband has faced. President Bill Clinton has been accused of sexual assault by two women, Juanita Broaddrick and Kathleen Willey. At least eight other women have accused Bill Clinton of sexually harassing them or making unwanted sexual advances toward them, with the allegations dating back to the 1970s.

Trump and his supporters have said Hillary Clinton enabled her husband and victimized his accusers. At a rally in OregonTrump called Hillary Clinton, " an unbelievably nasty, mean enabler." Bill Clinton has brushed off questions about the allegations while campaigning for his wife. Hillary Clinton told CNN's Chris Cuomo she has "thick skin" and said about Trump she knows "exactly what he is fishing for, and you know I’m not going to be responding." As a general election showdown between Hillary Clinton and Trump appears to be likely, the attention on Bill Clinton's past with women is likely to be in the spotlight frequently. On May 23, Trump posted an Instagram video with the question "Is Hillary really protecting women?" The video includes images of Bill Clinton smoking a cigar and sitting with Hillary as she can be heard laughing. The video also features audio of Broaddrick and Willey. Bill Clinton has been accused of sexual assault or harassment by at least 10 women, a list you can see below. You can click on a name or click through the gallery to see more about the allegations:

Clinton has also admitted to or been accused of having consensual affairs with at least an additional seven women. You can click on a name or click through the gallery to see more about the allegations:

An Open Letter to President Donald Trump from the People

.

Dear President Trump

Unlike the news media, other politicians, and the far left wing of the progressive and liberal perspectives, I am a citizen of these United States first, and foremost.  Long ago, the two political parties stopped caring for me and began protecting their own special interests.

It is for that reason only that many American citizens decided they had enough of the media, the politicians, and the political parties.  Some were Democrats, some Republicans, and many Independents and we all shared a common concern for our nation.

You see, we believe the Constitution is a very sacred document and we believe Divine Providence guided our Fore Fathers in the drafting and adoption of this unique masterpiece.  This incredible Constitution is what makes America the shining light on the hillside beckoning the masses from throughout the world to our shores.

Peace, equality, individual freedom, and sacred rights are identified and protected by our Constitution, and citizens of our country are chosen to be representatives in order to continue to protect this sacred document.

You are the most recent one chosen by the people.  It was a most unusual election and the degree of polarization shocked even the most cynical of us.  There is great risk entrusting the most powerful and enduring nation in the world to one who has never known the pressures of holding an elected office.

Many doubt your ability to adjust to such a new reality and many more intend to make it so difficult for you they hope to drive you from office in a fit of anger.  The news media seems to think they have all the answers and are intent on proving you do not.

All of that is politics as usual.  Yet in the course of conducting politics as usual, whether it be you, the Democrats, the liberal news media, or us plain old citizens, you are our president and we are the people who elected you and empowered you to be the caretaker of our needs.

No one expects miracles and we all know you face many difficulties as you attempt to transition from working solely for your self and your interests, to working for a Board of Directors of 330 million people with a multitude of diverse needs.

You and your staff did not acquire the United States government for your own purposes, you have been entrusted by the people with our government.  Along with that entrusting, are some rights and responsibilities we expect of you.

Make certain every one in your organization understands they work for us. Running the United States government on behalf of the people, all the people, is a sacred trust in itself. It means being honest with us, being honest with yourself, and helping all people understand the meaning and purpose of your actions.

There is no room for, nor need for exaggeration, deception, misdirection, or outright fibs.  Treat all people with respect if you are to expect respect in return.  Be humble, you speak for us, and be thorough in managing the affairs of state.

You preside over the most powerful force in the world, the US government, and everything you do will reverberate throughout the world.  Understand the actions and consequences.

The election is over, you are the president, there is no need to obsess over polls or remind us of the path you took to victory.  Enough Mr. President, you are the president.

We want you to be our agent of change.  We want you to shake up the system and rattle the Establishment to remind them they have forgotten about the real America.  Any improvement in relations around the world would be nice as well.

No president in our history has such a free hand to bring about change.  You are the first.  Use that gift for good, not to demonize people, or make others look bad.  Those who fail to serve the public interest need no help in self-destructing.

All new Administrations make many mistakes when they first take office. Yours will be no different.  In fact, when so many of your inner circle have no prior experience in government, we understand the stupid mistakes already made by your people.

We will not hold that against you if you take responsibility for their stupidity and put an end to the mistakes.  Defending people prone to error is a big error in itself.

There is not a soul in America who does not expect you to make mistakes but most Americans can accept mistakes when they are acknowledged and when they stop being made.

If you take seriously the trust we have demonstrated in electing you, you will then be able to give us the vision of the future we need, the hope we have so long desired, and the trust in our elected officials necessary for a brighter tomorrow.

Is that too much to ask of an Ivy Leaguer who became president, a successful businessman who knows how to make money, or a disrupter who can turn the Washington Establishment on its head?

Just think of what Abraham Lincoln had to experience to become president without all the qualifications you bring, and then save a nation from Civil War.  You walk a mile in his shoes and we will have the president we hope to see.

Signed

The People
