Hip couple cross court to visit UK Royalty William and Kate

William and Kate of the UK are in NYC on their first visit to raise money for the many charitable causes served by the members of the British monarchy.  While here they took in a NBA game which was hijacked by unscrupulous jerks and made into a photo op to glorify the greed of our music industry.

Without an invitation from the royal couple, the massive egos of the darlings of bad boy bad girl record sales led to a media frenzy staged and manipulated to perfection.  Between the third and fourth quarter of the game, Jay Z and Beyonce, the ex-drug dealer and ex-choir girl strolled across the basketball court and into the faces of William and Kate for a pleasant chat, surrounded by news media.

Who can blame them for wanting to steal a photo op with legitimate royalty as if it might rub off on our own media royalty.  However, protocol rules royalty, and what they did was a violation of all respectable behavior.

Of course, the media magnified the act by the pre-arranged media coverage of the meeting, and then further acerbated it by the media headlines of royalty meeting royalty.  Queen Elizabeth must have been back at the castle gasping for breath.          

Now long ago I assumed I lived in the world's greatest democracy only to find out from the left leaning media that we have our own Royalty and contrary to popular thought, it is not Barack and Michelle Obama, unless you consider them the old guard.

As a person whose ancestors were in Scotland and England, I do not think I need our news media declaring our Royalty to be Beyonce and Jay Z.  Monarchies are a legitimate choice of the people of any nation if they exist, and most certainly not declared by liberal media.

A legitimate monarchy serves the people for centuries, like the UK monarchy, who devote lifetimes and millions of dollars to causes to serve all their subjects.  They even give their lives as pubic figures like Princess Diana, mother of William.

We decided 238 years ago we did not want a monarchy here, though we also respect the right of any other nation to have one.  Because of our history, we have always been close to the British monarchs and fascinated with the royalty.

It is an insult that our media has the audacity and stupidity to declare an odd couple like Beyonce and Jay Z, our royalty, and then push them into the media spotlight with the real royalty of the world, William and Kate.  Comparing them in the same headline as royalty is an insult to intelligence.

According to the nitwits in the media, this is supposed to be the route to royalty in America.

Sexual exploitation, tits and ass, drug dealing, pimps and prostitutes, vulgarity, grossness, performing for the family of murderous dictators, and just about anything else you might find on the road to success as the queen and king of trash talking, women demonizing, sex goddesses and home boy glorifiers.

I, for one, find it an insult to the British that we throw in their face such morally bankrupt royalty.  But don't believe me, here is the same media glorifying them.

CONFIRMED: Beyoncé Sings For Gaddafi’s Son on New Year’s

On Sunday, Mediaite reported that singer Beyoncé Knowles had given a private New Year’s Eve performance for an exclusive crowd in St. Barth — and made the case that she had performed and been paid by relatives of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi (variously known as Khadafy, Qaddafi, Quadhafi and more). Atlanta-based blogger Necole Bitchie reported a $2 million fee; the UK Mirror reported a “six-figure sum” and yesterday Media Takeout made the same claim, repeating the $2 million number and confirming the Gaddafi-hosted party from a guest who was there (hip-hop impresario Russell Simmons also placed Beyoncé at a “Khadafy party.” Today Page Six confirms our original report, with one new piece of information: the party was thrown by Hannibal Gaddafi, son of the Libyan dictator who less than a week before made headlines for allegedly attacking his wife in a London hotel.

It should be noted that Jay-Z also reportedly joined (Mariah) Carey last year in performing for the Gaddafi party, and that there was no backlash for either of them (indeed, Carey went on 20 days later to sing for President Obama‘s inauguration — as did Beyoncé). However, this year Muammar Gaddafi’s history of terrorism has come to the fore with the release of Lockerbie bomber Abdel Basset Ali al-Megrah, the Libyan convicted of setting the bomb that took down Pan Am 103. Gaddafi and Libya accepted responsibility for the bombing in 2004, and has paid millions of dollars in reparations to the victims’ families.

Obama Welcomes Jay-Z Support, Violent, Misogynistic Lyrics and All

Whatever else his electoral troubles, president Obama seems to have the all-important hip-hop star demographic sewn up. Rapper Jay-Z recently released an ad which detailed his love for president Obama, and encouraged young voters to vote with Obama in November.

The president, whose re-election campaign has been heavy on soak-the-rich class warfare rhetoric, apparently welcomes the endorsement of this member of the imperial 1 percent. Jay-Z has earnings of more than $460 million.

In another hard-hitting interview (remember “The Pimp with the Limp?”), Obama told a Cleveland radio station what he and the rapper had spoken about when they met at a recent fundraiser. "I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyonce out [with the baby]," he said. "And not leaving it all with mom and the mother-in-law."

Jay-Z may be the kind of man who needs that advice. While he appeared clean-cut and professional in his Obama ad, his entertainment persona is an entirely different matter. Before he lived the life of celebrity Jay-Z was a drug dealer, and he frequently raps about his past life. His lyrics are laced with profanity, and frequently encourage listeners to embrace violence.

“Dirt Off Your Shoulder,” a song president Obama referenced on the campaign trail, boasts about “a middle finger to the law,” while “99 Problems” degrades women with lyrics like “I’ve got 99 problems but a bitch ain’t one.” That particular song also has an entire verse about being racially profiled by the “mother-f-ing law” for “doing 55 in a 54.”

Jay-Z wrote a song specifically about Obama called “My President is Black.”  They lyrics included racial shots at former president Bush and vile language. Jay-Z rapped: "You can keep ya puss, I don't want no more Bush / no more war, no more Iraq, no more white lies, my president is black!"

In May, Jay-Z and Kanye West released a song that expressed their love of gratuitous violence.

“No Church in the Wild” opened with a protestor flinging a Molotov cocktail at police. The violence only escalated from there and the video is a patchwork of firebombs, fights, and destruction.

 The lyrics of the song  celebrate anarchy, as this excerpt makes clear:

In September Obama tweeted a picture of himself with Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce, boasting about his supporters who were in “an empire state of mind.”

But this is the Obama campaign’s state of mind and Obama has earned the nickname “Celebrity-in-Chief” with good reason.

Prince William officially engaged, Coltons Point Bloodline one step closer to British Throne

.



Today the English monarchy made official what the residents of Coltons Point knew six months ago, that the heir to the British throne was engaged to be married to Kate Middleton.  Last June the people of Coltons Point threw the first official engagement party for the future king.

So close was Queen Elizabeth to making the announcement last June that the champagne had been ordered for the ceremony but Prince William, ever the stubborn one, cancelled the ceremony because of press leaks of the event.  It took six more months before he relented and allowed the inevitable to take place.

As the following accounts tell you, this is historic as the future king will be the first member of British royalty with a bloodline that extends to America and Coltons Point, formerly known as St.Clements Manor, and the oldest continually chartered settlement in colonial America was home to Prince William's ancestors.

Southern Maryland holds first Prince William Engagement Party at the home of his colonial American Ancestors

Prince William, son of Princess Diana and now being groomed to be the next King of England, was honored this weekend at the first engagement party in the world for the future King of England at Coltons Point, Maryland in Southern Maryland. St. Clements Island, just off shore from Coltons Point, was the site of the first landing of English Catholics and others in America fleeing from religious persecution in England.

It was also the site of the first charter in the world to guarantee religious freedom for all residents and Coltons Point, formerly known as St. Clements Manor under Lord Thomas Gerard, is the oldest continuously settled chartered community in the original thirteen colonies.

What makes this story particularly interesting is that when Prince William becomes King he will be the first King of England in the long history of the UK with American blood, 1/16th according to The Ancestry of Diana, Princess of Wales, for Twelve Generations, by Richard K. Evans researcher of the ancestral bloodline of English royalty.



Prince William is a direct descendant of the very Lord Gerard who presided over the largest manor in America with over 20,000 acres in the 1600's. Southern Maryland was long a hotbed of support for the English starting with the settlement of the 300 English colonists in 1634. Many direct descendants of the original colonists were in attendance at the royal affair held in the East Windsor Gardens of Coltons Point.

The engagement of Prince William to Kate Middleton, the future Princess of Wales, yet to be confirmed by the Royal family, was announced in Coltons Point in the following invitation to the party.

On June 19th we celebrate the engagement of His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Philip Louis of Wales, Royal Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter and Royal Chair of the Colony of St. Clement's Island, son of Diana and heir to the British throne, to Kate Middleton, the future Princess of Wales.

Histories Mysteries - Next King of England (Prince William) Shares St. Clements Manor, Maryland bloodline



When the late Princess Diana's son Prince William of Wales, heir apparent to the British throne and grandson to Queen Elizabeth II, becomes King, it will be the first time in history that an English monarch is 1/16th American. Ancestors of Prince William and his brother Harry, sons of Princess Diana and Prince Charles, are from Coltons Point, also know as St. Clements Manor, settled 375 years ago near the mouth of the Potomac River.

How could this be you might ask? Good question. Because we thought we had run the British out of America a couple of centuries ago. But alas, one of the enduring mysteries of St. Clements Island and Coltons Point is the very strange history that abounds in this quiet little place lost in time yet just an hour from our nation's capitol. The first colony in the world to guarantee religious freedom, at a time when Catholics were being persecuted in England, everything about this place is mysterious.

And nothing is more mysterious than the first proprietors of the original St. Clements Manor, the Gerard family of England. Two of the Gerards, a brother and sister, were on the Ark and Dove in 1634 listed on the manifest as investors and gentlemen or women.

Some history books indicate that in 1633 when the Charter was first granted for Mary Land by King Charles II to the Calverts, well before the ships left for America, the King and Calvert gave a grant to the Gerard family for any land they wanted in the New World north of the Potomac River. If they did it would be indicative of the power and respect for the family.

You see, according to English Heraldry the Gerards trace their English heritage back to the 1100's to William Fitzgerald, (the Gerard family name was shortened from Fitzgerald to Gerard and also spelled Gerrard and Girard). William traveled with Richard Strongbow and was part of the force that took control of Ireland for the King of England. After that there were a lot of Sirs in the family over the years.

By the time of King Henry VIII the Gerard family was one of the most powerful Catholic families in England and never seemed to be prosecuted for being Catholic under the reins of Henry and Elizabeth I. During the later years of Elizabeth Sir Thomas Gerard began making plans to set up a colony in America where Catholics would be free of persecution.



Thus with George Calvert, an investor in Queen Elizabeth's efforts to colonize foreign lands, he helped finance the Calvert Maryland colony. George Calvert had also become a Catholic just when England was banning Catholics. Whatever the agreement between Gerard, Calvert and King Charles, two of the Gerard family members were dispatched on the first ships.

But the real Gerard claim was the charter for St. Clements Manor because the Gerard family was entrusted with the most sacred site of the expedition to establish religious freedom in America, St. Clements Island. History conscious England would normally protect National Treasurers like the first landing site in the New World guaranteeing religious freedom. It was another sign of the trust of the British crown in the Gerard family. Though the area was finally certified by surveys in 1639, since the 1634 landing it had been occupied by those in the first expedition.

In Father Andrew White's historic journal of the colonization it talks of St. Clements Island, the first landing site in the New World. It was here the first fort was built, the first Catholic Mass performed and the first peaceful encounter with Native Americans established the long term peaceful relationship. It was also in the St. Clements Manor area that Father White, thanks to the Indians, set up the first Catholic chapel in the New World.

For the first five years after the landing the St. Clements Manor area was one of just five settlement sites in all of the Maryland area where the Jesuit priests could go and meet with the Native Americans. It was considered safe enough for such interaction with the Native Americans. The site of the St. Clements Manor House complex became Coltons Point and has been lived in ever since.

Historians know that places like Jamestown, Plymouth and St. Mary's City all ceased to exist in their original sites by the 1690's. Thus Coltons Point was settled in 1634, chartered in 1638 and surveyed in 1639. Because of these reasons the St. Clements Manor area, now Coltons Point, is the oldest continuously lived in chartered settlement in all of colonial America.

Dr. Thomas Gerard, whose brother and sister were on the first ships, was the family member designated to settle and develop the New World holdings and he arrived with his family in 1638, immediately settling at Coltons Point (St. Clements Manor). In time his manor grew to one of the largest in all of America including over 20,000 acres. He also owned land in Virginia and he was a partner owning Capitol Hill, the land where the US Congress, Supreme Court and much of our federal government was build.

Gerard was an unusual person, exactly what King Charles would prefer. While Charles was a Protestant King with a Catholic Queen, Henrietta Maria from the powerful Medici family of France no less, Gerard was a Catholic from a powerful English family with a Protestant wife. When he reached America he built the first chapel for Catholics and Protestants on the Manor.

His Manor House in Coltons Point sat on the riverbank and faced the little Island where the landing took place. St. Clements Manor House was burnt down by the Protestants around 1645, rebuilt, burnt down by the English in 1713 and rebuilt, and finally destroyed by a hurricane in 1933. One day maybe it will be rebuilt on it's original site.

Gerard was the first doctor in Maryland, a gentleman and successful businessman. He was often at odds with the Calverts, the Lords from England, over the rights of the people versus the rights of the crown. After the protestant revolt in England his lands were seized for a time and he moved to his Virginia land. He was the neighbor and friend of John Washington, George Washington's great grandfather. In time two of his daughters married John Washington thus were step great grandmothers of our first President.

For those of you who find it odd that two sisters would marry the same person, regardless of the fact it was George Washington's great grandfather, a note on the Colonial ways. Way back then women were a rather rare feature in the early colonial days. Also death came early for many of the men. So to protect those women who choose to help settle the New World the families would often have the next available male or female marry the widows.

This was an extension of the rules of the English monarchy, the same rules that proved to be King Henry VIII's undoing. You see, his brother was King and died at age 15 in 1502 when Henry was just 10. Henry was thus required to marry his brother's widow, Catherine of Aragon, the daughter of Queen Isabella I of Spain (the same Isabella who sent Columbus to discover America). Catherine was much older and Henry had to wait until he was 17 before the marriage took place.

Well Henry had difficulty adjusting to the older woman and was enamored by younger women like the Boleyn sisters, having an affair with one and marrying the second, Anne. Anne forced him to divorce Catherine. Thus began the religious wars that tore Britain apart for the next 150 years. For her part Anne got beheaded but her daughter with Henry, Elizabeth, became Elizabeth I, one of the most beloved Queens of England. She never married. Hummm.

Back in the colonies when he died Dr. Thomas Gerard was buried alongside his first wife at the St. Clements manor House overlooking St. Clements Island. We believe both grave sites have been located three centuries later and along with St. Clements Island they should become one of the most historical sites in Southern Maryland. Meanwhile, numerous smaller manors within St. Clements Manor were given as gifts or sold. Frances Scott Key, composer of our National Anthem, was even born on St. Clements Manor.

In England where the rest of the Gerard family remained their royal bloodlines continued and both Prince Charles of Wales and Princess Diana are blood relatives of the Gerards. When Prince William becomes King he will be the first British Monarch who is 1/16th American. He is also 1/16th German, 1/16th Hungarian, 1/32nd Irish and 1/64th French.

That means our Coltons Point bloodline (Gerards) will have a son of Princess Diana, Prince William, who becomes King of England who is related to King Henry VIII, a new King whose ancestors were step great grandmothers to George Washington who defeated the English, and who is the first British King who is 1/16 American. No wonder we always liked Princess Diana.

Prince William of Wales, heir to the English throne, can trace his family to St. Clements Island and Coltons Point. We even know the gravesite of his ancestors here in Coltons Point who first arrived 375 years ago. We really must celebrate when Prince William becomes King. Better yet, why not start now in honor of the future King of England whose ancestors were our founders.

Sarah Ferguson Blinded by the Gold - Bribed for Royal Family Influence?

One of our favorite characters from the Princess Diana era of British royalty was quirky Sarah Ferguson, former wife of Prince Andrew, son of Queen Elizabeth. Andrew is Britain's special representative for international trade and investment.



Poor Fergie was caught on tape talking about influence through her former husband and about a bribe of 500,000 pounds, about $750,000. As reported in the British tabloid News of the World, she was caught on tape by a reporter accepting $40,000 cash as a down payment for her efforts.

"Five hundred thousand pounds [approx $750,000] when you can, to me... [to] open doors," Ferguson, 50, says on videotape during a meeting at a swanky London apartment. The British tabloid also printed a transcript of the conversation.



"Then you open up all the channels, whatever you need, whatever you want... We can do so much," she went on. "If you want to meet him in your business, look after me and he'll look after you."

Ferguson, a former Weight Watchers spokeswoman, appears to ask the reporter, who is posing as an international tycoon, for $40,000 in cash, and $720,000 by wire transfer "if you want a deal with Andrew... and then you meet Andrew."



After a pile of money is show on a coffee tape, the duchess puts her head in her hands (it's unclear if she's smiling or crying), and then moments later, hauls away a black computer bag stuffed with the cash, which is described as a fee for "doing the big deal with Andrew."

Ferguson says that Andrew was aware of the deal, but the newspaper says he was not.

"I will listen to the friendship talk between you two. And then I do it... You two talk. I listen. Then I activate," she said. "He meets the most amazing people. And he just throws them my way."

Ferguson wed the Duke of York, who is fourth in line to the throne, in 1986, but they split 10 years later. They are parents to two daughters, Beatrice, 21, and Eugenie, 20.

"He's so amazing," Ferguson says on the videotape. "We're the happiest divorced couple in the world."



The royal family was unavailable to comment. Fergie said in a statement that she had money problems but "that is no excuse for a serious lapse in judgment, and I am very sorry that this has happened. I very deeply regret the situation and the embarrassment caused."

Fergie has lost millions in business ventures (including the closing of her promotional firm, Hartmoor, last year, which she poured $2 million into), but still preferred to travel first class and in a chauffeur-driven Bentley.



Her $3 million contract with Weight Watchers expired in 2007, and according to the Times of London, she had to scale back her lavish 50th birthday party to a family meal because she couldn't afford it.

The only official comment by the Royal family was that she did nothing illegal. Here in America she would be guilty of taking bribes to influence people. Somehow it does not seem right that the Royal family cannot be guilty of accepting bribes in such a blatant case.

UK Election Winner David Cameron Can't Get No Satisfaction Either

Now we know where the sometimes confusing results of the elections in America come from, the UK. Only in America can you win the popular vote and lose the election (Bush-Gore 2000). So much of America is influenced by the old British Empire it is only appropriate our elections are as well.



Yesterday, on the 45th anniversary of the writing of the rock anthem I Can't Get No Satisfaction" by the legendary British invaders the Rolling Stones, the UK election ended with winner David Cameron singing I Can't Get No Satisfaction. Just like the Bush victory in 2000, this election ended in titillating controversy, what the British call a hung Parliament.



The 2000 election ended November 7 with Florida being a contested state and three rulings later by the US Supreme Court on December 12, Bush was officially declared the winner. Gore won the popular vote but Bush won the electoral vote and presidency.



In the UK the Conservatives knocked Prime Minister Brown out of the top spot by capturing around 306 seats in parliament to 258 for Brown's party but they were short of the 326 needed to take control of the government. Now the Conservatives have to cut a deal with the third place Liberal Democrat party, 57 seats, to share the victory or Brown, the loser, might just remain as Prime Minister under his government.

Sound complicated? Try explaining the US electoral college to the British.

The UK Conservative Unionist party is the center-right leaning party, the successor to the Tory party. You won't find many unions in America leaning center-right. The Labour party of Brown and previously Blair is center-left leaning, more like the American democrats and unions. But the Liberal Democrat party is the center left socialist liberal party, more like the far left in America.



Since Cameron and the Conservatives did not get a majority they have to cut a deal with the Liberal Democrats in order for Cameron to become Prime Minister. That would be like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck forming a coalition with Keith Obermann and Chris Matthews. Sounds more like a nuclear reaction.

Anyway, if no one can form a coalition then the Queen is stuck with figuring out who to ask to be the next prime minister and form a new government. She can get along with anyone since she has had 11 PMs from Winston Churchill to Gordon Brown but her 12th might be the toughest task.



By the way, the endorsement of American Idol's Simon Cowell at the last minute of David Cameron did not seem to be enough to get the Conservatives the majority. So now we wait and see if the British have any better luck than we did in 2000 and finally get a new PM.
